Title: Terminator 3
Rating: 4/5

Watched it last night, had heard a lot of bad things about it, i thought they did a good job, plentiful action scenes a good slice of humor and self-mocking, fit women waving guns and kicking ass.
There were a few bits that didn't really work for me, the way they all just happened to be down at that clinic, 'hey didn't i go to school with you?'
The John Connor was a bit pathetic considering he's supposed to save mankind.

But Generally a good and worthy sequel with a nice twist which i didn't expect.

Go watch it.

from yahoo:
"Simon: have you noticed we are a country with just black music now?"

*TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD*

we are, listen to the radio, all there is is rap, R'n'B(beit a strange version of r'n'b) or soul. There is hardly any rock, or anything else of white music

!!!!!

I've said this before and I'll say it again. That stuff is not RnB. The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley were RnB. BG's talking shite though.
Posted by Doctor Lucid, 12:54, 12th August 2003:

Ooooh, Question: Is the amount of 'black music' in the UK proportional to the amount of 'black people' in the UK? And if not, why not?
Posted by beargod, 12:55, 12th August 2003:

you are obsessed with the question marks and not saying why you are asking what,

For instance instead of the question marks you coulsd have said what has that got to do with anything? or
Why are you such an idiot? or
Stop it you weirdo?
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:57, 12th August 2003:

But for that I would have to have at least the most basic hint of a scooby doo of what you're going on about.
Posted by beargod, 12:57, 12th August 2003:

I did say "R'n'B(beit a strange version of r'n'b)". I always classed rolling stones under rock myself, due to them not just being Rythm and base.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
*booooooooooooooooooom, chay's head bursts*

Rhythm and Blues, tsk.
Posted by beargod, 12:59, 12th August 2003:

Think about it the big stars on normal radio, not just London only radio, so radio one etc, you have Eminem, which is rap, which is blackk music, destiny's child which is god knows which is black music etc
Posted by Sul, 12:59, 12th August 2003:

rythm and base teehee
Posted by beargod, 12:59, 12th August 2003:

I meant blues, I don't know why I put base
Posted by Doctor Lucid, 13:00, 12th August 2003:

So how would you classify the music that is now generally referred to as R&B?
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:00, 12th August 2003:

"blackk"

You're one 'k' short of the full set there, dude ;)
Posted by chandler, 13:00, 12th August 2003:

hahahahahahaha
ahem

Destiny's Child haven't released a single for nearly 2 years though.

'Bouncey' is my favourite media nickname for her
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:07, 12th August 2003:

Hang on, BG..... I thought you said a while ago that you haven't listened to the radio or any chart music for over 5 years???
Posted by beargod, 13:13, 12th August 2003:

I haven't my girlfriend puts it on, I am in the same room, how the hell do I get away from it?
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:14, 12th August 2003:

LEAVE.THE.ROOM.
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:15, 12th August 2003:

"I haven't my girlfriend puts it on"

So, if you're in the same room, you are in fact listening to it, disproving your "no radio for 5 years" claims.

Leave BG alone! Stop bullying him!
Posted by eatmypiano, 13:24, 12th August 2003:

R'n'B of 15 years ago stood for "Rythym and Blues." Blues music with a rythym. Now it just stands for "Really Bad" - people wailing incomprehensibly over a hip-hop like beat.

The stuff that Destinys Child and the like release is an offence to proper R&B. Additionally, what is the sudden fixation with the phrase "Uh oh"? That's in every song around now....
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:24, 12th August 2003:

I'm not bullying him! I'm just trying to figure out what he's trying to say :)

He may be onto something but we don't know because he isn't explaining his point enough.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:24, 12th August 2003:

Ok..but no bullying! ;)
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:24, 12th August 2003:

Or according to the RZA, it stands for "Rap and Bullshit".
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:33, 12th August 2003:

Wihout sounding like I'm bullying...

"Simon: have you noticed we are a country with just black music now?"

Ok, so BG, let's hear your theories on the matter....

Na, lets talk about last night's episode of Spooks .
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:38, 12th August 2003:

Missed it, I was watching Bond.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:39, 12th August 2003:

It was the last one (for the year)
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:42, 12th August 2003:

I got slightly confused during it, but managed to get it together before the end. Has Quin died? Will he return? Oh the questions...
Posted by cal, 13:44, 12th August 2003:

it was awful! i hated the end. i can't wait for next year

there's no way he's dead though, surely

all your rythm and base are belong to us
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:46, 12th August 2003:

I couldnt belive he shot Harry, only in the arm mind you but still....I thought he was at the dirty for about 10 minutes...

Agreed though, he cant be dead, he must return.
Posted by chandler, 13:46, 12th August 2003:

oh jesus who can say, why did he walk into the sea, bloody nutter.
maybe he will fake his own death, then go into hiding and take down the other guy thats been framing him. whooo knows. his collegues are a bit dumb for not believing him, they didnt even think it could be possible that evidence and documents could have been altered.
i reckon its all down to Nicola Walker from The Last Train. she did it. :D
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:50, 12th August 2003:

No wonder they didnt believe him..the guy who set him up was recorded dead, even his wife said he was dead. Cant argue with that.
Posted by chandler, 13:52, 12th August 2003:

it was pretty obvious that he was being severly set up all the way through like that nice clear shot of the carrier bag at the airport. its just hard to believe that they wouldnt do everything they could to check his story rather than assuming the information was genuine. bloody spies. :)
Posted by Victor Menendez, 13:53, 12th August 2003:

The Mighty Quin?
Posted by chandler, 13:53, 12th August 2003:

"the guy who set him up was recorded dead"

yeah but they must know that a lot of people especially around their field of expertise fake their deaths and things like that, they acted like someone (with lots of money too it seems) staging a car crash was almost impossible.
Posted by chandler, 13:54, 12th August 2003:

Maybe it was just time for Quinn to jump through the portal into the next universe.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:55, 12th August 2003:

Yeah, the should have checked the story instead of instantly disbelieving him..
Posted by chandler, 13:56, 12th August 2003:

im undecided as to whether this ending was better than the first series or worse.
spooks was the most complained about programme of 2002 i think for the whole arm/head in boiling oil scene in series 1
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:59, 12th August 2003:

That was a great scene, the face in the chippie one. Brilliant!
