Having trouble finding things? Then the new
iamcal search site will help.
There's a
new directory of esoteric programming languges.

This software makes reasonably good code flowcharts - it can handle javascript too. The output is usually good enough to understand, but not presentation quality.

nice toy for viewing things in space. Looks quite like elite to me. [via JenR]
How come the search finds the front page with "eatmypiano" listed in the "Members on line in the last 60 minutes" section? Do you archive the front page?
Searching for "eatmypiano" returns about 200 documents.

Why does it say 'You big fathead mongface' in the title for every page?
Because that's title of the home page.

izb: it's the current strapline
emp: you were online during the last indexing - as simple as that

was ap drunk last night?
Hey, I don't think this counts as an introduction forum, but apparently I can post here. I guess anybody can post here. Sounds dangerous.
Is arsepuppy drunk often?
Is arsepuppy sober often?

yeah - anyone can comment on the weblog. it would be a bit wierd to exclude people. ap is usually sober by all accounts.

The search is much improved!
I was testing the search back in may and it wasn't really working the way I would expect.
I posted a message back in may that I was using to test the search.
www.iamcal.com/topic_2436
jeffld, 02:36 18 May 2003
I put this in the message so that I could search for it later code: foobar

Uh, after I read that last message I realised that it is confusing.
(I should have just edited it.. doh!)
Anyways, I'll rephrase what I was trying to say.
Basically, back in May of 2003 I was testing the search function on iamcal.com and it wasn't working as well as I would expect it should.
I just wanted to compliment Cal on new search function. ;)

I think certain parts of the website shouldn't be included in the search.
Try searching for 'people' or 'XHTML' to see what I mean.
