I'm taking the piss here. I thought I'd use Cal's web site to tell everyone my woes on the off chance that someone might be able to find me a job.

I got made redundant today from a job I'd had since June. I'd been unemployed since I got made Redundant in January from a job I had since May 2002. I got that job after being made redundant from a job in Feb 2002. I got that job in October 2000 after being made redundant in April 2000.

My resume

Jun 03 - Today; Web Design & Infrastructure, CMS developer.
May 02 - Jan 03; Mac & Notes Developer, Ad Agency
Oct 00 - Feb 02; Notes Adminstrator, National newspaper
Nov 98 - April 00; IT Manager, Advertising Agency
Jun 96 - Nov 98; Senior engineer, outsorucing company (left of my own accord!)
Jun 90 - May 96; Apple Computer UK, made redundant.

Qualifications; BSc, MCSE, PCLP (Admin), ACE, ACSE, MSDBA, IBM AS400, CASE, CCNA
Other stuff: PHP, Perl, RDF, Java, Cocoa, AppleScript.

I love Macs & Notes. I do the rest if I have to. If anyone want to offer me sympathy that would be accepted, but I'd prefer it if someone could offer me job. Email me at steve@stevethompson.me.uk if you want my CV.

Cal, if you delete this message I'll understand 'cos it's not really what iamcal is for, but a lot of people read it so I thought I'd try my luck ;)

man, how do you even get a job in apple, 3 years I've been signed up to their fricking list, and never one UK job, unless you count the Irish ones

I got the Job at Apple when they weren't popular. I joined when the IIfx was a current machine. Left when the 8100/110 was top of the range.

I miss the Apple II. I used to play Super Bunny on that and it rocked.

I used to know an elderly couple that used to program games for it, their stuff was cool.
