Hello, I'm back off up to uni soon and I'm going to get a nice new chair, as i shall be sitting at the computer for great lengths of time.
I'm looking for one at about £50-£60 so I'm thinking argos catalogue time, but just wondered if anyone had a chair that either they were especially pleased with/would recommend/think looks damned cool.
:)
Wheels, Arms and a high back are of course essential.

Could try Ikea or maybe staples
Posted by
chandler, 12:59, 20th August 2003:
oooh good idea
though sitting on staples might hurt
Posted by
Rosie, 13:45, 20th August 2003:
i bought a chair from staples and it was a nightmare. Don't buy from staples unless you want a headache.
how were you sitting on it?
Posted by
Rosie, 13:50, 20th August 2003:
Not on my head - with my bum!
It was tricky to put together, all the bits were missing and when we eventually got it together - it was the wrong one!!!
Posted by
chandler, 13:58, 20th August 2003:
lol maybe it was the right one but you made it wrong!

dude my chair was from argos and was only £50-£60, it lasted quite well given how much i was sat at it. But the padding went flat after a while.

chandler, 16:04, 20th August 2003:

beargod, 16:07, 20th August 2003:
its the same chair as mine and the one chay is looking at buying, although I got it in sale and it cost about £40, but its leather, so Chay should be weary, he might start eating it
Posted by
chandler, 16:22, 20th August 2003:
yeah im not sure whether to get it cos of the leather.
leather is a byproduct that is to say cows are killed for meat primarily and else the skin would go to waste. but im not sure.
hmmmz
maybe i'll stop thinking about it and just enjoy the smell of it and the feel of leather on my skin
