We got one!!!!!!!!!!!
One bedroom place on Easter Road, which is not the greatest of areas but it's improved a hell of a lot and will continue to do so and it is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. I feel a bit sick.
It seems like we may have it for a great price too but will have to wait for the survey. Woo hoooo.

YAY well done mr. beer lover, how much did it cost in total then, or does that really depend on the survey?
Now you have to wait and pester the solicitors for ages, like I do, bastards!
Good work beerman, i'm looking for a new place in putney (flatmates are tossers, ex-girlfriends a crazy bitch)

that must be a bit awkward...
Cheers folks. We got it for £91800 and it was offers over £73000. Sounds a lot but our lawyer said they have been going for ~£103-105 so potential bonza.
Feels weird though.

good luck ilbm and hope all goes well for u!
It's been surveyed at £800 less than we offered for it, which for Edinburgh is outstanding! The last one we offered on was surveyed at £12800 less than we offered and we still didn't get it!
Only slight downside is that the last repairs were done 10-15 years ago which means we may have to fork out a few grand at some point to fix the roof but thats a risk in all tennements.
Nice one. Party time.
