Since every now and again the subject of 80's nostalgia and cartoons and that comes up, I had a worrying thought.

In ten years people will be like "Ooh remember Pokemon and Beyblade? they were GRATE!"

This troubles me :(

There was those lethal 'skip-it' toys where you had a ball on the end of a piece of plastic and the other end had a loop you put your leg through. You then had to spin the ball around one leg and hop over it with the other leg. People mostly ended up bruising themselves or tripping themselves up.

Yep There was one manga type one with a golden bird as a ship that I have completely fogotten the name of, I loved it loads at the time though :(

Oh my God, I was just reading up on some things at work, when I came across the name Orville and remembered a) this thread and b) that hideous green duck thing that couldnt talk properly, not that I think it's nostalgic of course!
