This topic reminds me of my friend Arthur. He was in a well-spangled state due to smoking a bit too much of that funny herbal tobacco he has. Simon has just spent about half an hour boiling the kettle on a fire.

Simon: "Arthur? Do you want tea or coffee?"
Arthur: "What?"
Simon: "Tea or coffee?"
Arthur: "Oh, yeah! That'd be great."
Simon: "Do you want tea or coffee?"
Arthur: "Yes, cheers."

He just thought Simon was offering him a hot drink, rather than trying to determine which kind of hot drink he was after.

I like coffee and tea, but here was an option to choose both.

I take then with 3 sugars and Cream.
Posted by beargod, 08:42, 11th September 2003:

Does cream = milk in america, cos that would be too sweet with cream in it

Im steadily working through my Dutch tea box that i brought back from Holland when i went and stayed with my Miki :) there are lots of lovely teas, but my favourite so far is apple and cinnamon, its like a liquid version of Mr Kipling's bramley apple pies! :D

Don't you have to squeeze the coffee beans to make coffee?
Posted by friday, 14:57, 12th September 2003:

yeah, thats about right BG, I have to go to the garden, pick off the beans in the morning and lay them out in the sun. By lunchtime the beans are ready to go through the grinder and hey presto, coffee ;-)
Posted by beargod, 14:59, 12th September 2003:

Damn it takes you a long time to make your coffee, If I drank it I think I would go for instant
