My company, (called Friday) will be celebrating 2 years of existance on October 3rd. Friday is most famous for a weekly email featuring what's on info for Malawi (Central Africa). It's still quite small, but well known in Malawi.

Anyone have any ideas for content for this party? It will be hosted at a lodge which has a bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Featured parties there before included:

DOLLYWOOD - men dressed up as women and vice versa
TARZAN - lots of people in grass skirts and not much else
RAT RACING - yes real rats racing

I will feature the party on my website, if you have any ideas, you'd make me very happy! :-)

why don't you arrange some kind of concert to raise money to ease famine? you could get all the big music names of the age and release a christmas number one. maybe you'll even get knighted!

heh

whaere's your website friday?

Are they all your works parties friday?

3 parties in 2 years, bit selfish isn't it?

How about a super hero party where you dress up as super heros then try and jump the furthest into the swimming pool?

I like the super hero idea

website cal I'll tell you later, because its not updated since May and it would be an embarassment for me to show you just now.

fair enough, trees over people eh?
Posted by friday, 12:24, 11th September 2003:

well, trees give people an income and food, ie mango trees or medicinal species and its a long term thing rather than a quick hand out of food, that doesn't really solve the problem, unless of course their is a crisis, like a flood

Fair enough, in twenty years time the ones who havent died from starvation can haul their stick-thin bodies to the new forest and use what remains of their strength to perform the undemanding job of a lumberjack, then they can earn a fair days wage and live the life of riley.

Posted by jlittle, 14:03, 17th September 2003:

friday - if you are still looking for suggestions - I think it should be an "iamcal" theme party, where you fly over the iamcal members and everyone has to kiss their feet.
Posted by friday, 09:52, 20th September 2003:

jlittle, you reminded me of an idea I had a long time ago, to charter a plane and fill it with my friends and have a big party. Unfortunately, I would not beable to afford that! (Suprisingly enough) but if people were able to pay for themselves, then the idea, in theory is quite exciting. And it would be something to write home about, what fun! Maybe I should start a thread on it and see how many takers there were?!
