If I was as rich and powerful as he was, I'd want to do something about world peace. If you start doing things like that though the powers that be get pissed off no matter how rich and powerful you think you are. I think when he did that political video just before the 'event' happened he was stepping on a few large toes. I'm not saying he did or didn't, he paid to stop the smoke screen on his reputation and the family excepted that. However the damage was done. He is the only one and the child concerned who know in their hearts what happened. The speculation should stop as the two parties agreed it should stop. Child abuse is one of the top five biggest money making industries in the world thats something you should worry about.

Michael Jackson will never run out of money. I don't think he's running out of it now. I think it's maybe just rumors. If he IS running out of money, all he would have to do is have a concert. I'm SURE he could sell one out in the U.S. if the tickets weren't too expensive. Or Europe, where he's as popular as ever. He's HUGE over there. I'm sure he has his reasons. When I found this site some of the replys seemed mature and intellegent, but some aren't. There's this one guy Victor Menendez or something. I've seen his name a couple times. He seems quite unintellegent, mean, and just a jerk. He's not good at thinking up smart things to say so he just swears a lot. I came into this site thinking there would be some smart discussions. There are some it seems but there's also a lot of garbage. It seems like either kids or maybe just dumb adults(i.e. Victor Menendez, maybe) Right now I'm stuck in the introductions forum waiting to get approved. That's all from me for now.

"I had a vision from God, I've seen the light, Im getting the band back together"

(sorry that was supposed to be a quote from the Blues Brothers, but I havent seen it for 10 years, so the wording might be wrong)

wow, thats me told.

Its not worth the effort of typing up an intelligent and well thought-out answer because the response will probably be something along the lines of:

"MIkuL J@ksoN Is tha Most Carng Man in teh wurld an i wUd luv his Sprem in my @nus!"

P.S. Michael Jackson fucks kids!

Maybe a test is not such a bad idea.
If you asked questions like "Who reads the Sun on a regular basis" and "Who has the worst spelling" people who have been reading through for quite a while (like me) would know the answers.
Posted by beargod, 14:20, 15th September 2003:

ok Pauly who has the worst spelling that has been accepted? and who reads the Guardian
Posted by Pauly, 14:45, 15th September 2003:

You have the worst spelling, Beargod. You don't use correct grammar, spelling, or punctuation, you don't capitalise and sometimes you even put words in the wrong order.
What's worse is that you have recently shown that you do know how to spell and punctuate, but continue to do both badly because you can't, it would appear, be bothered to correct your mistakes or type carefully, which shows a lack of consideration for the other people on this site.

Several people on this site read the Guardian. I will pick Cal, because it seems least likely that he is lying about it.

Yes I have the worst spelling and though I can spell and puntuate properly, I can not be bothered half the time cos I am typing quickly at work. I never thought it was a lack of consideration to other people, they just made jokes about it and took the mick
Posted by Pauly, 14:54, 15th September 2003:

Jackie_o, however, is probably spelling incorrectly to annoy people. His first few posts were coherant and sensible, as he tried to put his point across. After getting a few replies that he didn't like, he has set out on a quest to annoy you all, and will probably get borded within a day or two.

Posted by beargod, 15:00, 15th September 2003:

Posted by Pauly, 15:08, 15th September 2003:

Don't fret, people on this site don't seem to be too effected by your 'individual' posting style - what seems to annoy more often is your hatred of Microsoft, and the blindness this causes when addressing related issues.

Hey foggy, where you been?
Posted by Pauly, 15:32, 15th September 2003:

I am almost positive you are a 'he'.
Also, as I said, your first post was considerate and well-spelt, and you received several harsh replies, after which you started being a bit stupid.

Stop and think about what you are doing, and then start to post again.
Give reasons as to why you don't think Michael Jackson is a child-molester, and be aware that recently the people on this site have had a lot of posts about him, and are fed up with discussing it.

Out of interest, I agree with you, and think it is incredibly unlikely that he ever abused any children.
I think it is sad that a man that has brought so much joy into so many children's lives, and worked closely with terminally ill and handicapped children should gain such a label.

Hmmm.... I think it'd be quite hard for you to agree with Jackie O, Pauly, as he seems to have both proposed that Michael Jackson is a lovely man, a talented musician, and also someone who puts Sprem into as many Anas as he can. In fact, whilst being a bit more mis-spelt, JO's first post seemed to suggest that MJ did in fact put Sprem in Anas, but it doesn't affect the point that Billie Jean is quite a nice tune. Cue comparison with Heidgegger being a member of the Nazi party.

Again, it would be quite hard to "give reasons why you don't think MJ is a child molester" whilst you're also "remembering that the people here are fed up with discussing it".

Deary me. What is poor poor Jackie O to do?
Posted by Victor Menendez, 19:32, 15th September 2003:

I also like 'Billie Jean'

Jeez, a lot of responses since I replied last night. So is that why Vic seems to swear a lot Beargod? Come to think of it all the pages where I saw him swearing and whatever were about Michael Jackson or something about Michael Jackson was in there. I'm sure Vic's not a bad guy or anything. I'm stuck on the introductions forum as long as I come in to say hello and don't be an idiot. That's what it keeps telling me when I try to enter a regular page. I guess I thought originally a lot of swearing meant you were being an idiot. I guess swearing's allowed. I'm not a big swearer myself. In person or in a discussion forum. It's hard to find one where there isn't a least a LITTLE swearing. And is the Cal I keep seeing the iamcal Cal or just someone who decided to adopt the name? And what is the average age of the people who use this site? If anyone knows and can tell me that'd be great. That's all from me.

I only really swear where MJ or the French are concerned.
Posted by Ecks N Trick, 00:42, 16th September 2003:

Yes some people definitely hate the French because they didn't support what they we were trying to do. But some Americans didn't exactly support Bush's vision either. Some thought war wasn't the answer, and apparently the French DID support us, but they didn't want to fight. Some got the wrong impression, thinking the French don't like us. There are our allies, as they were during I think both World Wars. The second I know for sure. But some people have been hating the French for years. There's some stereotypes about the French. They all hate Americans, and they love Jerry Lewis. The truth is some people in France do hate Americans, and the French only loved Jerry Lewis back in the 50's and 60's. Especially when he visited the country in I think it was about '66. Nowadays you mention Jerry Lewis to them and they think it's the name of a singer. As in Jerry Lee Lewis. Anyway i guess I'm getting ahead of myself. That's all.
Posted by Pauly, 08:51, 16th September 2003:

It's funny how making fun of the french is considered acceptable, but making fun of (for example) Pakistani people is shot down almost instantly.

Also, I find it odd that 'Scot' and 'Brit' and 'Aussie' are perfectly acceptable, but 'Paki' is not.

Often I find it's people trying so hard to be politically correct that they cannot see simple reason.
Posted by cal, 09:14, 16th September 2003:

ent: if you can't see the inherent jokes in the system then i think you're a little too young for this site

pauly: because the word has negative connotations which was replaced it's original meaning. we're not in utopia.

I don't care about the way the French treat Americans. I just hate the French.

Posted by jlittle, 09:34, 16th September 2003:

I agree with Vic.
Posted by beargod, 09:43, 16th September 2003:

Ent: The majority of the Brits were against the War on Iraq as what I have heard was most of the Americans too, but we both supported our people when they went into Iraq and hoped it would be over soon, yet it is still going, because not enough thought went into it. Both political leaders lost support from making that war.

The French have always hated the Brits I read recently especially around the begining of the first World War were we only had one unit to help them protect themselves, etc. So I think us Brits should have the opertunity to hate them back :)
Posted by Doctor Lucid, 11:20, 16th September 2003:

Well, making fun of the french does happen and is more tolerated, but it doesn't mean it's a positive thing. Monstrous generalisations, eh. (Oh dear, here I go again. Don't say it.)
Posted by Victor Menendez, 11:32, 16th September 2003:

don't do it doc, sweeping generalisations are what make life worth living.
Posted by mjardine, 13:39, 16th September 2003:

Especially about the French!!!!!!!!
Posted by Pauly, 16:25, 16th September 2003:

Cal: I disagree slighty, after all, the word 'frog' also has negative connotations.
However, the acts of actual violence that were performed upon the Pakistani people have associated this abbreviation with racism.
Also, the word 'Paki' is pronounced 'sharply', as are most of our swear words, which is perhaps an unfortunate coincidence.

Posted by Doctor Lucid, 12:42, 18th September 2003:

It's so bizarre that we define ourselves by the country in which we were born, or the country in which our passport is from. Dude, what's the point? Who came up with the idea of grouping people by landmass?

I feel no particular pride that I was born in any particular country. I quite like St. Albans, but only cause it's a nice place. I don't go; "I'm so darn proud to be from St. Albans."

oh, hmmm well they should be everyone seems to sing their praises over The Labour party and the cons
Posted by Doctor Lucid, 15:33, 18th September 2003:

Yeah, but when it comes down to it they'll all vote Tory if they want to get Labour out of power, because everyone reckons the Lib Dems don't have a chance. Which is fair enough really because I don't think they'd be able to hack being in power that well unless it was some kind of coalition. Although they would introduce PR which can't be a bad thing, except it would give a voice to extremists.

I think the thing that could save the Labour Party (and do some good stuff for the country too) would be if there was a leadership challenge by a relative unknown, over 100 MPs voted for the unknown, thus causing a second round, and then Gordon Brown (or Robin Cook) stepped in and won the Leadership Contest.

Ain't not gonna happen, though..
Posted by beargod, 09:52, 19th September 2003:

Doc: If a cirtain labour seat like this uk.news.yahoo.com/030919/325/e8ukw.html votes Lib Dems, I will be surprised if they don't do too badly
Posted by cal, 10:03, 19th September 2003:

but it's not like it's an indicator of what's currently happening: "Blair had not previously lost a by-election seat held by his party since taking power in 1997."

so if anything, this is the start of a move to lim dem - it'll take a while yet before it gets anywhere. imo ;)
Posted by Victor Menendez, 10:07, 19th September 2003:

The Lib-dem's aren't going anyware, Polls don't really tell the parties anything, its what happens at the ballot box that counts and for the first time for this government the public have turned against them. Labour won't be too upset because the Tories are still a shambles and IDS couldn't lead pissheads to the pub. its certainly bad news for Tony Blair though, Gordon Brown must be pissing himself.
Posted by beargod, 10:09, 19th September 2003:

Yeah that is true, but still it does show that Tony Blair has had lots of faith lost for the labour party, and it would do Labour a good turn to have a change of leadership, and probably have a good wash out of all the people in labour at the moment :)

No; think about the bloody Thatcher government. Very few people actually liked them or had a great deal of faith in them, and yet they managed to keep in power cause of a strong leader. Unfortunately Blair is the same. They're both strong leaders who are going entirely in the wrong direction.
Posted by beargod, 18:41, 19th September 2003:

Personally I don't remember the maggie thatcher government, but didn't it help that the 70's labour government was exceptionaly bad?

RedAndWhiteMan says: Maggie Thatcher was one of the best prime ministers we ever had. She broke the dastardly scumbag unions and set the country on the path to economic success. she also kicked ass on the way.

And Michael Jackson Fucks Kids.
Posted by Uncle Moc, 16:57, 22nd September 2003:

Thatcher was a nightmare. The 70's Callaghan labour government was very far left, which was a pretty good thing, but paved the way for economic right wingers to vote in Heath, followed by Bloody Thatcher. Busting the unions was pretty bloody horrible too. Denying the workers right to take action about the conditions of their employment? Bitch! Economic success? Oh, that thing otherwise known as The Recession.
