Although illegal, peoople sell them sometimes on the side of the road here. My friend 'stole' one from the vendor, took it home - his dogs thought it was great. The monkey 'minky' as he was known had a great time jumping all over the furniture, up the curtains, etc, going to the toilet as it went, quite disgusting for such a cute looking thing. It changed my mind about pet monkeys, although I am sure they are not all like that, this one was straight out of the bush.

Needless to say, my mate released it into a National Park.
