arent you supposed to be off to Bath now?
I was hoping to be, but the course only lasted 55 mins as opposed to the half-day it was supposed to be. two hours travel each way for a poxy less than hour course, and because it ended so earlier, i had to come back in to sort out a load of shit that my boss has left till the last possible moment before telling me about.

Could we combine this with the "Jesus and his Shady Past" thread to create: "Jesus: What a Wanker! With A Shady Past Too!"

*sigh*
Studenty soapboxing rears its ugly head again.
(sorry, I just have a problem with people who slag off other people's beliefs etc.)

It's called tit-for-tat, arsepuppy.

???
Remember, just because you don't respect a belief system, you should still always respect people's right to believe in it.
tit-for-tat??

Yeah - those bloody church bells at 11:30 on a Sunday morning piss me off. It's called "noise pollution".
Oh yeah and the seven years of Catholic primary school didn't help.

tommorris are you getting Catholocism (of which there are many forms) mixed up with Christian faith as a whole?
they arent interchangeable terms.

I went to a C of E primary school
our headmaster had a guitar.
You went to a Catholic Primary School
your headmaster had class 4C

Chay's on the mark here (not meaning the school joke!). You simply cannot compare the different forms of Catholicism and the many different types of Christianity. Having a Catholic education is in no way a justification for reactionary postings which could offend other people reading this.

Official Disclaimer: I have nothing against Christians, even if they do wake me up with their church bells. Many of them are good-natured people. Good-natured people are the sort who can take a joke without needing a three page disclaimer attached.
End of story.

It's like saying Christians come round to your house and bang on the door and bang on about god. Jehovas Witnesses do that but not "Christians" as a wider group
