I think it's great news.

I also think its great news. For our comedy purposes of course, I think the people of California may have a slightly different view.

My vote would've been cast thusly: "Terminator 2 was good. *Tick*"

What a joke. Just makes the US more of a laughing stock than it already is. With any luck our government will soon be as follows:

Prime Minister: Ali-G innit.
Chancellor: Little Mo from Eastenders
Deputy PM: Alex from Fame Acadamy
Home Secretary: DCI Burnside
Foreign Minister: Jimmy Saville

Go Celebs!!!!!

To be honest he not that bad as far as Republicans go. Fairly liberal and he's clearly smarter than monkey boy.

Or not - record numbers of people turned up to vote this year so we have to remember that it is the "people of California" that appointed Arnie.

I'm not too sure on this manifesto and what it will do for the people of California, but surely they didn't just vote him because he is a celeb?

I dunno. Take an example from closer to home: H'angus the monkey. A fucking football mascot voted in as mayor by the good people of Hartlepool.

Don't forget that the americans, unlike us are suckers for elections. record numbers of voters also voted Dubya into office, says it all really dunnit.
Posted by ilovebeerme, 11:44, 8th October 2003:

He actually lost the popular vote by over 500000. At least thats what the most convincing set of figures I've seen said.

Now we just have to wait for the Democrats to do to Arnie what the Republicans did to Gray.

I would have voted for Gary Coleman.

How about having a "Celebrities All-Stars" party? Then celebrities wouldn't even have to find political views to get elected on.
Posted by Grim..., 13:28, 8th October 2003:

And the public is more used to voting for celebrities than politions...

I want Lee Evans for the Top Job =]
