Good idea from the world of Grim...

Basically, we each choose our favorite song (and I know that it's difficult to pick one, just try) and then when we have 15 or so I will put them all onto a CD and send it out.

So who's got some favorite songs (because I can't think of mine ATM)...

Foggy: Yeah. Don't really want to be here though. Modules etc. are ok (like designing a live art installation about racial/social prejudices, for one), but I just can't be bothered with education anymore. I just want to be a barman again. Those were the days.

ilovebeerme, that was everyone's list put together, not my selections.
Posted by chandler, 16:29, 9th October 2003:

even if there was only one song for the CD and it was Gary's then i would still suggest we delete Gary's song.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 16:29, 9th October 2003:

I agree Chay.

Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiësto's In Search Of Sunrise Remix)

and no we can't have the Bilbo song.
Posted by chandler, 16:45, 9th October 2003:

Posted by Gary, 02:19, 10th October 2003:

Pah! My tune should be opening track on the album! However, it is quite lengthy at 11:25, so I'm changing my selection to Can't Let Go - my all time favourite Mariah Carey song, which weighs in at just over 3 minutes long. :D
Posted by Grim..., 08:35, 10th October 2003:

Fave lyrics ever. God bless Grace Jones.

The first time you rode your bicycle down the streets, you fell on your hands,
(? ) and bruises, the first time you dropped then you ran,

Scary but fun, take a chance in life you have one/won,
A little bit scary, but fun, did you forget what it’s like to be young?

I remembered I learned how to water-ski, and the road ran over my head,
Broke several bones in my body, I got right up and did it again

Scary but fun take a chance in life you have one/won,
A little bit scary, but fun, did you forget what it’s like to be young,

See you standing on the corner, crunching ice as the action goes by,
Hearing music coming from the neighbour, as they sit in the silence, hear them cry,
(Hear them cryyyyyyyyyy!!!! Heeearr theeeeeem cryyyyyyyy!!!)
Take to your wings, butterfly,

Scary, but fun, crazy, but so much fun,
Scary, but fun, crazy, but so much fun,
Scary but fun, take a chance in life you have one/won,
Scary, little bit scary, but fun, did you forget what it’s like to be young?
Fun! (x3)
Fun! (x3)
Fun! young! fun!

I’m a little bit scary, but I’m fun,
Just a little scary, but so much fun,

Fun.

I'm new here, but this track is very old ' We Used To Know' - Jethro Tull - featuring some of the best wah-wah lead guitar by Martin Lancelot Barre.

Alternatively, 'Feel So Good' - Jefferson Airplane - also featuring screaming wah-wah, but courtesy of Jorma Kaukonen this time. Give yer ears a treat.
