Er...

*I'm getting dumped this evening and need a new fiance*

Why do you say that?
Posted by Rosie, 16:42, 14th October 2003:

Because I am getting dumped. I have technically been dumped - but its not official yet.

Vics not interested then.

How about if I throw in my digital radio?
Posted by Grim..., 16:45, 14th October 2003:

What happened?
Is is related to the phone thing from a month or so ago?
Posted by Victor Menendez, 16:45, 14th October 2003:

Sorry babe, been out all day just got back, I'll do it if you throw in a radio but my parents will have to arrange it (We are practicing Hindus) if they agree how about we combine our engagement party with the Iamcal Halloween party where some B3ta types will be along for the ride?
Posted by Rosie, 16:48, 14th October 2003:

Um, well, I'm sorry things didn't work out between you and your fiancee (now you can find out if anything was going in in the big 'mobile phone debate').

And I'm sorry your going to end up marrying Vic.

Why is Vic a farmer?
Posted by Grim..., 17:06, 14th October 2003:

Typical.
Posted by Rosie, 17:07, 14th October 2003:

Aww Rosie I'm sorry you got dumped but he sounded like a complete knobhead anyway! I know I didn't know him but that's the impression I got...
Anyways, I think you should meet Vic and shag him at the b3ta party, imcal couples are all the rage don't ya know?!
Posted by friday, 06:37, 15th October 2003:

No more kisses for you from me then Victor?
Posted by gobbo, 09:16, 15th October 2003:

I agree with Redmaiden! :)
Posted by Rosie, 09:23, 15th October 2003:

Morning.

I still feel like shit. :(

But i'm looking forward to the party! :)
Posted by Rosie, 09:30, 15th October 2003:

BTW - he was in when I got home. I asked why if he had dumped me was he still there. He said he doesn't want anything to do with me anymore and that he was staying there coz he has no where else to go!

He slept on the sofa bed last night.

I think its just a row otherwise he would have moved out if he really couldn't stand the sight of me.
Posted by Grim..., 09:35, 15th October 2003:

Man the fuck up, girl!

Kick him out of your house NOW!
Posted by Rosie, 09:39, 15th October 2003:

:(

I can't. I'd miss him.
Posted by Grim..., 10:51, 15th October 2003:

MAN THE FUCK UP!
Posted by Rosie, 11:09, 15th October 2003:

what does that actually mean?
Posted by chandler, 11:12, 15th October 2003:

It means stop being a doormat and kick the no-good dirty dog out on his arse. Whose place is it anyway?
Posted by Rosie, 11:16, 15th October 2003:

Well....i pay the rent. and the bills. so I guess its mine.
Posted by Grim..., 11:31, 15th October 2003:

Man the fuck up means many things, most of which are appropriate.

Be more manly.
Think more.
Be more aggressive.
Have more pride.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
D Up (Defend properly in basketball).

Etc. Etc.
Posted by Grim..., 11:31, 15th October 2003:

Do Chandler and I have to come and kick him out for you?
Posted by chandler, 11:35, 15th October 2003:

"Well....i pay the rent. and the bills"

and yet you don't want him gone?!

why did he never pay any of the bills or the rent?

I'm sorry but you are too kind and pretty to be a doormat Rosie.

and he seems to be an excellent Parasite
Posted by Rosie, 11:39, 15th October 2003:

He cant pay the rent/bills because he doesn't have a job.

I'm sure it'll work itself out. :)
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 11:41, 15th October 2003:

I am only 20 minutes away...do I need to come over there and show him some Scottish hospitality?
Posted by jlittle, 11:41, 15th October 2003:

Rosie - kick him out, there are plenty more better fish in the sea, your Nemo will be around somewhere.
Posted by chandler, 11:42, 15th October 2003:

But he goes out every day and looks for work right? And he sends off applications? and goes to the job centre every day to see if there is anything?

cos if he just sits around in your house, wiping your phone and playing computer games and hoping that one day someone will knock on the door and offer him a job then well he's either a parasite or a sponge.

I guess if he is a sponge at least you could wash with him.

Anyway, it's your live and your issue so sorry i keep going on.
Posted by Rosie, 11:46, 15th October 2003:

..at least you could wash with him.

*snigger!*
Posted by plindoe, 12:17, 15th October 2003:

Fuck him off then fuck Vic!
Posted by Grim..., 12:24, 15th October 2003:

Sorry, but I can feel a poll a'comin'...
Posted by WarHead, 12:27, 15th October 2003:

Are there any extenuating circusmtances that might allow you to allow HIM to stay? Does he fuck like a tiger? Does he have an educated tongue? Does he know how to heat pizza? Does he make a jolly good cuppa? Is he clean about the house? Do you get admiring and/or jealous glances from other females?
Posted by eatmypiano, 12:30, 15th October 2003:

I don't think those are good reasons to be treated like a doormat.
Posted by WarHead, 12:41, 15th October 2003:

The Rosie should ASSERT herself and make him her SEX SLAVE. It's time the worm turned (no offence intended).
Posted by Rosie, 13:05, 15th October 2003:

He does do a lot around the house. He hoovers and stuff.
Posted by jlittle, 13:22, 15th October 2003:

fucking hell - he hoovers?

I guess that's a good consilation for treating you like shit.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:26, 15th October 2003:

I do the hoovering about my house...

Anyway, I think we should leave Rosie to make her decision. All this will not be helping Rosie's head at the moment and this is a big decision for anyone to make.
Posted by Grim..., 13:33, 15th October 2003:

I'm still gonna make a poll...
Posted by Rosie, 13:37, 15th October 2003:

I've placed my vote.
Posted by chandler, 13:47, 15th October 2003:

ignore me i cant read
Posted by Victor Menendez, 16:21, 15th October 2003:

Hang on a sec, if anyone is going to give the ginger tosser a bit of a slap, its gonna be me.

But if he hoovers i think i might be outclassed.

Rosie-

what is going on? The last letter you sent me things were going good. I understand what you must be goign through. You poor thing. I wished there were something more I could do.

Who's name is on the flat?
Posted by jlittle, 11:47, 16th October 2003:

Hi Rosie,

How are things today?
Posted by Rosie, 11:52, 16th October 2003:

Well, he went to work last night. I made him his sandwiches to take. He didn't even say thank you! I haven't seen him today. He will probably be in when I go home for lunch. I don't know whats going on. Hes not talking to me. He doesn't even want to be in the same room.

Things are not looking good. We've usually made up by now.
Posted by Rosie, 11:52, 16th October 2003:

Nov: The flat is in my name. Thank god.
Posted by jlittle, 12:24, 16th October 2003:

What sparked off the Argument in the first place - something you done or something he did?
Posted by Rosie, 13:08, 16th October 2003:

He hadn't been speaking to me properly for a couple of days. He'd been really quiet. Plus we haven't had sex for about 6 weeks. I asked him what was wrong. He said nothing. i said well there must be something wrong as you don't seem yourself - so whats up? He then went off on one calling me boring and he said that everyone in my family where pricks and stuff.

I've just been home for lunch and he'd bought me a Ribena.

Unfortunately its gonna take a lot more than that to sort this shit out.
Posted by Grim..., 13:27, 16th October 2003:

I can sort it out in three words...

Kick him out!
Posted by Grim..., 13:27, 16th October 2003:

Anyone called my family pricks would be leaving without touching the floor.
Take his key, then send him out for something, and refuse to let him back in.
Posted by jlittle, 15:09, 16th October 2003:

Is someone called my mum a prick I would take pleasure in smashing their head against a wall.

Hope you sort it out by doing whatever your heart tells you x
Posted by Rosie, 15:22, 16th October 2003:

Cheers

♥
Posted by Grim..., 15:24, 16th October 2003:

Just out of interest, what is your heart telling you?
Posted by Rosie, 15:42, 16th October 2003:

My heart is saying that I love him more than he loves me.
Posted by Rosie, 15:52, 16th October 2003:

My head is telling me I need a damn good f*cking as i'm fed up having to do it myself.

It's just that thinking back to the mobile phone issue, now you inform us that your sex life has stopped recently, I'd put money on the fact that he was...

...sleeping with someone else. Sorry.

;-)

Seriously tho, hope you are better today x
Posted by jlittle, 09:14, 17th October 2003:

Oh, and just to say, I didn't get any for months on end - however this wasn't cos she was seeing someone else - just because someone isn't sleeping with you doesn't mean that they are sleeping with someone else.
Posted by Rosie, 09:18, 17th October 2003:

NO. I'm not better today. He camped out again on the f*cking sofa bed last night. I can't handle this shit. I've lost half a stone in about a week! I haven't had any sleep for the last couple of nights, and I look like crap.

I left him a msg this morning before I came to work it said: "You've obviously made up your mind and theres nothing i can say to change it. I'm leaving you my mobile so that you can call someone to sort something out. This is fucking killing me."

:*(

He was shouting at me calling me a nasty horrible c*nt last night at 10.30 at night. He shouted at me so much he lost his voice! (Which was a blessing!)
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 09:22, 17th October 2003:

I am so sorry Rosie, you sound well pissed off by this. *Big hugz*

My offer still stands, I am 20 mins away..I can come over and have a word if you like. Or I could just kick his ass all over staines!?
Posted by Rosie, 09:26, 17th October 2003:

:)

I don't mean to moan on and on. Its just we've been together for 6 years and its hard to deal with.

Thanx for my hugs.

:)
Posted by jlittle, 10:14, 17th October 2003:

Really, really sorry to hear that Rosie ;(

Breakups are sometimes hard, and although you may not see it now, at least with him gone you can start living again.

I really hope that whatever happens it will make you happy.

6 years is longer than a lot of marriages last. But a lot go through troubled times and people give up on them too easily. My personal view is that it doesn't really matter what he thinks about the rest of your family cos he doesn't live with them (.... unless you see them every day or something) .... he lives with you. Relationships don't stay all lovey-dovey and sexily hot for ever, so you have to decide whether you're prepared to stay together as it develops, or whether you want to jack it in and find someone new and exciting, bearing in mind that THEY won't be new and exciting for ever.

Just my opinion. Feel free to tell me to shut the fuck up.
Posted by jeffld, 23:45, 17th October 2003:

New and exciting is one thing, getting physically and mentally abused is another..

My ex-wife was incredibly good in bed. She was a real good looker too. BUT she had some serious psychological problems (not to mention a alcohol problem.) Our relationship suffered severly when she got her DUI, but after she got arrested for driving on the suspended license things just were intolerable. she didn't have a job and I was supporting her and three of her kids. (by three different men mind you)

Looking back I wonder what in gods name was I thinking. Next time I'm marrying for money.

Rosie, got money?
