My office has a weekly email that goes around to inform us of upcoming rollouts and outages etc. To encourage people to actually read it they have a couple of other things in it including this 60 Second Interview. This week its my turn. These are my answers:

What is your role within Service Control?

IT Support Analyst (Desktop & Admin). I also like to think it’s my job to keep morale high through my chirpy attitude and smashing good looks.

Describe yourself in 3 words

Must Try Harder

Chocolate cake or Fruit cake?

In general sweet things - including cake - make me feel sick.

Worst holiday disaster?

Its a toss up between a whole two weeks of utter boredom in Turkey last year or the time I had to sing "The Red Red Robin" in a Haven talent competition when I was 8

If you could have a 121 with anyone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

Dead or Alive? It would have to be Steve Coy because Pete Burns’ lips scare me.

What is your ideal job?

Screenwriter

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

A Quincy inspired forensic scientist. This was before I learned you could make a "career” out of computers.

If you had 3 wishes what would you ask for?

World peace, free Stella and manageable hair

Do you have any pets?

Not anymore. I used to have 2 goldfish that lived in a blender. They died of natural causes after about 2 months. (Neglect's a natural cause right?)

What was the last CD you bought?

We're a Happy Family - A Tribute to the Ramones - Various Artists

What can't you leave home without?

A nagging feeling that I'm missing something good on the telly

Tell us something about you that we don't know.

I lie to seem more interesting. And, interestingly, I've a friend who insists I call him Batman.

Who is your favourite cartoon character, why?

A tough question. While the antics of Bug's Bunny, The Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, Mickey Mouse etc, each have their charms that are, in a way, timeless, I think I'd have to take a look at our more contemporary animated friends of the late 80's and early 90's. What made these cartoons excel was.... well... oh its He-Man ok? Because he's big and tough grrrr.

Pete Burns was stalking my mate. He met him in a club and then started phoning him all the time and asking him to go for drinks and sending him stuff. Then on my mates birthday, while out clubing, Boy George came up to him and wished him a happy b'day and Mr Burns was laughing and waving in the background. Weirdo.

Chocolate cake or Fruit cake?

No thanks, I’ll spoil me tea and me teeth will rot.

Worst holiday disaster?

You’re implying that I’ve had several holiday disasters and that may not be the case.
Lemme think. I cut my toe rather badly on a lift door in Ibiza. And when I picked up my case at the aeroporto it was damaged and I’d lost a pair of socks.

If you could have a 121 with anyone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

You know if you drive around with no car tax that your insurance becomes invalid right?

itsnt that true? or is that the MOT thingy
Posted by arsepuppy, 18:03, 23rd October 2003:

"Mot" is the most popular name for a dog in Wales - FACT

or is it "Smot"? I forget.
Posted by Mr.Nishi, 18:15, 23rd October 2003:

No it's MOT that requires the Car tax, so staging the two 6 months apart is a finaciall sound plan....and not working.

ap: it's Smot that's the welsh doggie's name along with Pero, Carlo, Cymro, Cardi, Ianto and many others Clicki it is required that a downwards scroll will locate the evidence of Smot.
