i had it done in september.
it cost me AU$2550 per eye.

there's no discount for both eyes.

but i'm sure it differs from place to place.

end result? 20/20 vision, no glasses, and one happy customer!

My mom just had it done. She was both near and far sighted, so she had a contact lense for both in each eye. She can see distances now like she hasn't been able to in years. Even with her contacts it was kind of blurry before. About $2700 it cost. And that was one of the cheapest she could find. She drove a city over to get there. Not a real long drive. So she really needed it. Her vision is 20-25 she'll never be 20-20. Her eyes have been bad since she was a girl.

Just noticed this thread:

Vic, my mate had it done last year sometime. Firstly he said your eyes are open all the time, and they dont knock you out. Yuk!! Also, it didnt work and he has to have the procedure done again this year..More yuk!!

All in all, wear specs. Specie!
