Hello all

Is there a list of criteria that newbies have to meet?

/me stands up does a twirl, shows teeth, soles of feet & recites alphabet backwards

I think you have to pass an initiation test

I used to know a lad nicknamed Orinoco, The reason? He only had one ball.

The top ten tips are not mine & on a different site, however I have experienced 4 of them so I think they apply over here in the UK to.

I am a juggler, reciting the alphabet backwards is a little test I use while juggling a new trick to help me reduce the amount of concentration I devote to the juggling pattern (me? a nerd?)

a juggler? can you teach my left hand to juggle? my right hand can do it fine, but my left hand is letting the side down
Posted by Orinoco, 12:51, 3rd November 2003:

Is it that you are you juggling a cascade (infinity sign) & your left hand is letting you down (a common problem known as 'limp lefts') or are you juggling say 2 in one hand & you can do it with your right but not your left?

I'm guessing the former, in which case try starting with your left hand rather than your dominant right. Make sure your throw technique is right, a lot of people tend to try to jerk the ball out of their hand, keep your wrist straight & use your lower arm to make a nice smooth swing before letting go. Also chant to your self as you juggle saying throw as you make each throw, add more emphasis whenever you make a left hand throw (seriously this does work!)

For more tips visit my tutorials page which is my ever ongoing project to document everything I know about juggling.

i can do th former with three, but i wanted to do four, my lft hand is letting me down with two in one hand for two balls.

I'm not too worried though i only do it for fun, but i just get annoyd not being able to do it

try standing with your right foot half a pace further forward.

& try reciting the alphabet backwards while doing it... :)
