Thats because I run out of condoms to eat and Beargod wont give me anymore and then I sperm in the cinema and the chair Im sitting on gets pregnant. Ive also been dodging child support for Beargod's three children for which I am the father.

Posted by cal, 14:48, 5th November 2003:

i'm seeing it tonight. hope it's not total shit
Posted by jlittle, 15:23, 5th November 2003:

Did you like the second one cal? It's continues with the story line and doesn't improve much. Some good fighting Scenes.
Posted by Mr.Nishi, 15:36, 5th November 2003:

It had better not be total shite. big disappointment if it is, I would like to read the book it was based on if anyone has a copy or knows what it is called/is..
Posted by cal, 16:00, 5th November 2003:

i didn;t like the second one. damn
Posted by jlittle, 16:05, 5th November 2003:

;( @ Cal. You may not like it then! Sorry!

You mean the books they STOLE it from Mr Nishi, try William Gibson's Neuromancer for a start. When you get it, read the blurb on the back, and try not to laugh at how closely the Wachowskis were 'inspired' by it.

Just watched Revolutions... like the 2nd, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense immediately, but I strongly suspect there is no deeper meaning, and they've used the age-old "arty" film forumla - have lots of people tell our hero a load of mutually exclusive things, end it on a note that could mean anything, but leave just enough definately in there to contradict ALL the possibilities. Leave to rise for 2hours, and voila, pretentious bollocks.

I just watched it again.

Personally, I felt it was better than the second film, and equalled the first.

The fight scenes were excellent, most are filmed in the "real" world, so makes a change from most of the scenes in the first and second films.

The ending could of been better, it was good up to the last two minutes.

The music fitted in very well, especially in the last fight - Lindsey actually said that she thought the music was one of the best parts of the film.

I've read Neuromancer, and although parallels can be drawn to it, you really can't say that they "stole" it. The choices made are completely different.

Anyhow, I'm off to bed, hope that everyone else that goes to see it will enjoy it as much as me, although I expect that they wont.

Rar! APU's ROCK!

I liked it a lot. The first half hour was a bit dull, and the fight with Smith at the end was overshadowed by the rain (you'll get it when you see it), but the battle for Xion against the machines ROCKED!

Indeed, I think the large face at the end (Grim will know what I mean while no-one that hasn't seen it wont) made it look a bit stupid - also I don't like the Flying (like at the end) - it's the Matrix, not superman.
Posted by Grim..., 08:54, 6th November 2003:

Yeah, flight scenes in the air were a bit dull.
Posted by Coppers, 09:46, 6th November 2003:

The face thing reminded me of Tron.
Posted by jlittle, 09:52, 6th November 2003:

Tron is a great film, got it on DVD.

Ack bit late, but there is a Book that has been removed from print when the brothers W started the film so people wouldn't read it and therefore ruin the whole plot idea stuff for other people. Also I think G.Egan's ideas from Illuminus are perhaps better for describing what they were looking to say on the matrix....
Posted by beargod, 16:34, 9th November 2003:

I spremmed in my pants when [someone] [somethinged], cos i knew it could only get better from that point in, shit ending though
Posted by Victor Menendez, 16:40, 9th November 2003:

Well you haven't ruined it for me, because i have no intention of watching it. But im sure many other people will be impressed.
Posted by gobbo, 15:26, 10th November 2003:

Well it entertained me for a few hours, but I dont think I will ever watch it again.
Posted by beargod, 15:52, 10th November 2003:
