Top 5 reasons why I hate them...
1. Everyone I've EVER been served by in their shops has been unfriendly, bordering on condescending.
2. They sold me a dodgy phone charger. When I returned it and complained, they gave me a replacement. Which still didn't work. Repeat ad nauseam. (Eventually I gave up and went to The Link instead).
3. I bought a battery from them. Two weeks later, it hadn't arrived. Complained, was given the number of the delivery ppl to phone, who told me that A)CpW should have phoned, not me, and B)They didn't have any in the warehouse, and didn't know when they'd be getting any more(!)... I got a refund eventually, but still no battery.
4. The lady I had to deal with over the above insisted on calling me by my first name, as if we were best buddies (possibly related to Reason No 1).
5. They have really silly adverts...
Has anyone else had bad experiences with them?

Because they have a monopoly round here... they're the only phone shop in my particular god-forsaken part of the UK.
To get to The Link takes a train journey of more than an hour, and I've better things to do with my Saturdays.

i don't recommend online phone retailers. bunch of cocks. you can't go in and chout at them when they try and fuck you over.

I got my phone online from carphonewarehouse, didn't have any problems. Infact, didn't really like the first phone they sent me - so got them to come and pick it up and swap for a different one.
