Iam in london on Monday night staying the Rubens Hotel near Buckingham Palace...

I am arriving at about 7:00pm and I don't know what to do. I might be by myself... I might be with Sarah, I don't know...

I am staying one night and I don't know what to do the next day... Does anyone have any ideas on what I could kill and few hours doing? I need some suggestions cause I hate big cities and will probably sit in the hotel until I have to go...

take an open top bus tour! they run pretty much from outside the hotel i think.
other things to do in london
tate modern (free)
london eye (£11, lasts 30 mins take a camera)
covent garden (good shopping)
go see cal or any other iamcal-er who works in london
say hi to the queeeen
stay in your hotel room and watch porn all day
selfridges (again good shopping and yo sushi)
pub, any pub, the more local it looks the cheaper it'll be
ummm a nice sex show in soho?

I have only ever been to London once when I was titchy...

I am one of those people who don't like to stray far cause I think I'm going to get lost... however, work is paying for all my taxi rides so maybe I should take advantage!!

london's easy.. get on a tube or a bus with a travel card for the day... you get lots of interesting psychopaths on buses, there's street maps in most tube stations on the platforms too but i suggest you get a small guide maybe? (a map, not a person)
as long as you know the tube station and your route from the hotel to the station then you can never be lost!
