This may have been mentioned already...

Quality, quality match.

Even though at one point England seemed to be playing against 16 men (and one of them had a whistle) we still came through.

Fantastic stuff =]

the bandwagon left without me, but well done to england

Well done and all that, but rugby is SHITE.

And why did they win the Wimbledon men's trophy? Surely a big fuck-off easter egg would be better, and they could have given Jonny Wilkinson the smarties inside for his efforts.

Nonsense, I work in an office full of Aussies, its like christmas and new year rolled into one.

A Aussie waiter tried to kick me out of a resurant on Saturday afternoon because I was wearing an England rugby top.
His manager came over and told him to 'Shut up and get on with it'.

Yay =]

Thats why i don't eat in Walkabout.
Posted by Grim..., 16:57, 24th November 2003:

The day a Walkabout pub has a 'no sportsware' policy is the day I give up drinking.

It was here, actually...
Posted by arsepuppy, 17:12, 24th November 2003:

sportswear.
Posted by arsepuppy, 17:13, 24th November 2003:

Although, many restaurants and pubs have a "no sportswear" policy. There's also a rising amount of establishments with a "No Burberry" policy too - FACT.
Posted by Sul, 17:52, 24th November 2003:

Does that include ladies purses and bags too?

Its a good policy for keeping oiks out though. If I ran an establishment I'd put it in place.

Actually I'd have a "Pikeys will be shot!" sign.... maybe in a Tony Martin speech bubble

Yes. A nationwide eradication never sounded so attractive.

What do you think...

THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON LEGALISED KILLING OF TOWNIES

An exception shall be made in all Member States on the Sixth Protocol of the European Convention of Human Rights in order to allow Member States to kill off or permanently imprison citizens that the reasonable person considers to be a "Townie" or "Kappa Slappa". They have been decided by common consensus to destroy local communities both socially, economically and through criminal damage. Insurance premiums are at an all time high in certain areas due to the negligent use of motor vehicles after excessive use of alcohol, drugs, or certain forms of electronic 'dance' music.

In addition, the European Union permits any citizen of it's Member States to kill townies on sight. We will even provide you with free weapons in order to remove this blight and let our nations recover.

Hurrah!

I mean, just imagine...

"R v. Townie #291123 on the charge of being a townie. Do you plead guilty?"
"Innit, m'lud."

yup, 'twas a stellar game - i enjoyed it thoroughly, even tho the team i was yelling for lost.

i never really noticed this bad reffing you speak of either, grim, but i suppose that's part of the blinding beauty of bias. :oD

I thought the ref had a good game, some of his decisions pissed me off but Trevor Woodman kept fucking up the scrum. It was a brave effort from Australia though.

Incidentally Gobbo, thats how i feel every time i read one of your posts.

Posted by Kezza, 22:58, 24th November 2003:

I watched the match highlights, you can't beat watching big strong men jumping around and shoving each other, like nutters for a ball. mmmmm rugby :)
Posted by chandler, 23:16, 24th November 2003:

So england won then did they?

You jest?
How about the forward pass foul that went backward?
Or the penalty in the scrum one minute before full time? What the hell was he on about there?

Still, doesn't matter in the end, does it? =]
