Bollocks. What jlittle wrote and what other commentators said on the previous thread is hardly 'unfair'. I'd say it's quite a fair comment and statement of opinion. Stating one's opinion is hardly unfair. What is unfair is displacing truly talented musicians with puppets that have been created in glorified "Opportunity Knocks" crapfests that have been funded by the BBC. If he's truly 'talented', then it would be quite a good test of his talent to work the pubs and clubs and build success without having it handed to him on a plate from a shitty gameshow. Because that's all it is. With all the crap about 'interactivity' (that's the Jade "Duh-huh" Goody version of interactivity not the interactivity that Internet users have come to love), it's still a fucking gameshow.

And the argument that he is a 'nice guy' is irrelevant. He's a musician, or at least trying to pass himself off as one, and as such people evaluate his music. I don't care whether or not the person who makes a record is a 'nice guy' or not. It doesn't matter. It's all about the music.

So no, nobody was being "unfair" - they were making fair comment, stating their opinion. Just because you disagree with their conclusions doesn't mean that the opinions expressed in the other thread are 'unfair'.

Unfortunately yesterday, I visited the homepage that accompanies the message board I linked to. Other than being a badly designed Flash behemoth that almost crashed my browser (I suppose it's as much my fault: trying to use the bleeding edge version of Camino). But the worst thing: it had a fucking background sound of Malachi Cush's so-called "music". And due to the fact that my browser lost responsiveness, it played the whole fucking track. I was drawn to it like a crowd is to a car-crash. So fucking appalling. I withdraw what I said about agree to disagree. I'm such a fucking liberal coward. Trying to calm the situation before I know the full extent of it. The song was utter fucking shit sung by a fairly retarded and untalented singer. Pure horseshit psuedo-romantic pish.

I think I am getting a little over suspicious, and whilst there is certainly reason to think that Mamma-Joe is yet another pseudonym, I reckon you could probably find suspicion in any new persons post. I have decided to be normal to new people until they prove otherwise.

Odd, really. Cos every newbie who can't spell and uses a lot of unnecessary punctuation and weird comments always coincides with "Doctor Lucid" not being logged in. I'm sure there can't be any link, but I have noticed it... ;)

Came across this one in a search for a completely different topic, but i felt an urge to reply.. I can see that I am a bit late in doing so, but nonetheless, I thought I may as well express my opinion, free world and all that..!
Firstly, I respect all your rights on free speech and opinion.. and I have read all your comments carefully and with much interest. However, my own opinion is that this Malachi fellow doesn't deserve this rubbish you are coming out with. For you who found it so important to say
"utter fucking shit sung by a fairly retarded and untalented singer. Pure horseshit psuedo-romantic pish..."
I laugh at this comment, not because I find it even slightly amusing, rather because of your profound immaturity and ignorance. Take a look around you.. and maybe you'll see that Malachi has so much more talent than most of the
so-called "artists" today... but whatever you like to think yourselves, you can all have your opinions, just as I can have mine.
All I can say is, keep your eyes open for this guy... he's really not as bad as most of you would like to tell yourselves.
