..from the sex shop on tottenham court road. it was quite an educational experience for me. i hadnt realised how far technology has come. did you know you can buy remote control real-feel jelly pulsating vaginas??!!! (dont you hate that word)
Posted by Brock, 23:34, 12th January 2004:

Yeah. I've always though that 'jelly' had a certain sinister sound to it. I always imagine Vincent Price saying it...

One of my flatmates has hamsters. sometimes i want to stamp on them.

Rumour has it that the damn things break down after about a month. Presumably you either couldn't give a shit OR will be addicted by then and have to keep buying more.

SO..... is the rabbit any good. Does it spin your wheels and float your boat?
Posted by Brock, 23:46, 12th January 2004:

I do like this "My friend bought a rabbit", and "I saw it over someones shoulder at the check-out in the News of the World".

Smoke screen!

Posted by WarHead, 23:49, 12th January 2004:

I'll wait for the DVD to be released.
Posted by Brock, 23:56, 12th January 2004:

You would swear on the bible of the truthfulness of the purchase of a sex toy? That somehow sounds so wrong, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

so to speak

Vincent Price (dear young child, you) did the voice over for the Thriller song for M 'sprems in the anas' Jackson, and acted in numerous Hammer horror films of the 60's and 70's.

He is, erm, very famous. Possibly the most famous horror actor of all time.
Posted by angeldelight, 00:01, 13th January 2004:

oh ffs i wasnt even a sperm till 1977!
Posted by Brock, 00:03, 13th January 2004:

Oh. You've never heard of 'Thriller' then?

My apologies... ;)

The films are repeated most weekend nights (it seems) sometime after 1 in the morning, usually on BBC2. Really tacky, but quite scary/funny at times.
Posted by angeldelight, 00:05, 13th January 2004:

i have sky so dont have to trawl the dregs of council telly in the early hours. i get jim bowen's bullseye repeats instead. kewl

=o(
Posted by Brock, 00:21, 13th January 2004:

Don't bother with council house telly! Watch Jim Bowen!

And they say irony is a dying art...

"Keep out of the black and into the red, there's nothing in this game for 2 in a bed"

"Look what you could have won..... a speedboat!" (It always was when they didn't bloody win it!)
Posted by angeldelight, 00:33, 13th January 2004:

if they do win its a 14 man tent with lift flap extension

what surprises me is that they actually do have genuine 'non-darts players' i.e their aunt mabel. who can barely hope to get a dart in the board at all. surely they went on there with the bloody speedboat in mind!
Posted by Brock, 00:37, 13th January 2004:

I'm sure they won a 'luxury family car' (ie Maestro/shit-heap) once in a while.

Maybe they tested them for 'ringers' when they applied to play. Maybe people were just more innocent those days, and actually played by the rules?
Posted by angeldelight, 00:40, 13th January 2004:

maybe
Posted by Brock, 00:42, 13th January 2004:

or maybe the prizes were so shit that they couldn't get the real darts players out of the pub for a half share in a poxy tent?
Posted by angeldelight, 00:44, 13th January 2004:

likely

that jockey bloke. purpose??
Posted by Brock, 00:49, 13th January 2004:

No, he was a whale. Not a porpoise.
Posted by angeldelight, 00:52, 13th January 2004:

did jim and jockey have pre and post bullseye careers? (other than panto)
Posted by Brock, 00:54, 13th January 2004:

Jim Bowen was a 'comedian' before and after (try a google search) and the other bloke was a professional darts caller wasn't he? Unless you mean Jocky Wilson, as in Worlds Darts Champion, Jocky Wilson.
Posted by angeldelight, 00:55, 13th January 2004:

Phil 'The Power' Taylor is the World Darts Champion, for the eleventh time no less.
Posted by Brock, 16:23, 13th January 2004:

Bullseye was a very long time ago... More than eleven years in fact.
Posted by WarHead, 14:01, 15th January 2004:

But Peter Kay has revived it in his new live DVD.

He had a reet good year last year, did the lad.

Did you hear about Jim Bowen having to quit showbiz following a misguided, somewhat racist comment he made on t'radio? Silly old sod.
Posted by Brock, 14:26, 15th January 2004:

Yeah. Read the report thingy. Reckoned "I'm 65, and i just can't keep up with the changing use of words any more. I meant it as an innocent expression..."

Senile old fool...
Posted by Sul, 14:27, 15th January 2004:

What did he say exactly?
Posted by Brock, 14:30, 15th January 2004:

He said "nig-nogs" and said that he meant it in the definition of "young lads, rascals, scallywags". Anybody heard that particular expression used in that vein?
Posted by angeldelight, 14:47, 15th January 2004:

erm tho i'm a jimbo fan i have to say only herd it used in a derogatory way
Posted by angeldelight, 14:47, 15th January 2004:

(angel, you can edit your posts - if you want to of course)
Posted by arsepuppy, 18:36, 15th January 2004:

I still like old Jim Bowen though. He's ace. He's like a ventriloquist's dummy or something.
Posted by angeldelight, 23:53, 15th January 2004:
