(Level 8) How do I get out? Stumped.

Can someone help me with the chess room please? I have the chess piece locked in place, but what comes next? Thanks!

move the chess piece in a Knightly fashion until it locks into place.

Thanks, Abe - I have it locked into the gray pillar thingy already but I can't figure out what to do next. (I can't play chess; is it a chess thing?)

ah, get the thingy from the clock, then go back to the room with the panel on the wall and push the panel, the wall will move back and reveal another door.

I'll give you a clue. Have you got a light bulb still? Think what would use it.
Posted by Emily, 13:22, 2nd February 2004:

I've put the lightbulb in the lamp, switched on the lamp and got a code : 12323331
But I can't find where I must use this code.

Ah right. Then you're at the laser door with the coke machine. You need to use the panel with the coloured buttons that deactivated the first door then use the secret passages to go back.
Posted by Abe Frohman, 13:25, 2nd February 2004:

There is a false panel and ladder in the second door room, move boxes around to clear the way, operate the first computer so only the first laser barrier is working then go around and down the ladder.

Aw!!! Thankyou thankyou thankyou...!!!!

Just finished. That is brilliant. PS. I had a screwdriver left and a security disk. Did you? I also had a coin to buy myself a much needed coke!
Really good game...

Posted by arsepuppy, 13:58, 2nd February 2004:

would gamefaqs cover a web-based game?
Posted by tommorris, 14:01, 2nd February 2004:

No, it doesn't. But I didn't know it was a web based game. Then again, I know fuck all, so that's not a good measure to go by.
