The hoaxer, identified only as "Andy," claimed he received a dual-processor G5 for Christmas. But preferring a Windows PC, he swapped out the insides of the $3,000 machine for the guts of a cheapo PC. The post included several digital photographs to prove the outrageous claim.

99% of Mac users ARE crazy religious zelots... if they weren't so scary, I imagine they'd attract enough users to bury PC fans 2-to-1

Hey, I'm a Mac user and atheist. Hardly zealotry. But, yes, Macs do rule, especially since OS X.

but you are zealously anti-religion if memory serves me correctly, so you're basically urinating from the top of the same buiding there.

...and the other Mac users I know (except for one) are crazy zealots of some sort (mainly student politics and that)

if you trot out the "atheism is just another religion" line i'll break your fingers

(i'm a mac user)

i dont think he meant that cal, i just think that he was trying to point out that he was zealous about it. Macs are great i wish i could afford one.

trim.. is correct.

(I'm saving up for a Mac though. I likes 'em)

it is an 'ism' though

arsepuppy: there's a trick to student politics. It's called "taking the piss". It works quite effectively.

"but you are zealously anti-religion"
Yes, but, in my defence, zeal is "Enthusiastic devotion to a cause, ideal, or goal and tireless diligence in its furtherance." (American Heritage Dictionary)

And I'm hardly a 'tireless' secularist. In fact, I'm a knackered secularist who wants some cheap vodka-based alcoholic beverages. My zeal is only interrupted by food, drink, sleep, social events, reading books, working, pissing about on the Internet and listening to MP3's.

It's been going around our office on an almost hourly basis recently, from the same person. Doesn't get annoying in the least.
