Abe: The hair is familiar, and we haven't seen a pic of Arsepuppy full on, have we? It's him/her/it!

Hum ... I am American and I am not dumb, so don't generalize. Every country has dumb people.

What an idiot.

Nov: Love You! I have explained that I am only being sweeping on a comedy level. Every nation has it's muppets, just America seems to produce more 'special' ones, presumably cos it's a bigger place. And they get access to the media more easily, and so everyone gets to know about them!

....i swear that pic is cal, shaved with a wig on - or it might just be his end of school pic :)

IT'S A PUPPET!!!!

this won't make any sense at all if you don't know Brian Conley. see - at least I explain my 'in' jokes

Bradley Walsh sucks.

Or was that Brian Conley?
Posted by jeff, 15:46, 10th March 2004:

it was brian conley... my mum used to try and do impressions of that character but insisted it was 'its only a puppet'.. its now a family in-joke as are most things she says..

Do they have special kosha tissues for that sort of thing?
Posted by Sul, 19:06, 10th March 2004:

I'd have to consult AP. Are there some rules about the materials and method to which you clean the meat?
Posted by Brock, 19:10, 10th March 2004:

That kind of thing, yeah. They have special rules about everything else, don't they?
Posted by Uma, 19:14, 10th March 2004:

It's kosher

Posted by Brock, 19:45, 10th March 2004:

(English TV series joke. Let it wash over you. I couldn't possibly explain it and it be funny. You had to be there, and all that...)

There was a South African doctor on BBC1's 'Doctors' today. He killed an old lady by giving her too much speed.

cool
Posted by WarHead, 21:47, 10th March 2004:

My god, I've genuinely laughed myself stupid reading what followed on from my 'whao' typo. This is why I love this place. Word association football breaks out spontaneously at every available opportunity.

Let's off road indeed. Every day is Offroad Day at iamcal.com
Posted by Alfie, 22:09, 10th March 2004:

whao vs woe. thats a fucking massive typo.
Posted by Brock, 22:24, 10th March 2004:

Well. That's all the subtlety beaten out of that piss take then, eh Alfie?
Posted by Alfie, 22:26, 10th March 2004:

It stopped being funny after abe's "Chairman Whao?" comment
Posted by Brock, 22:30, 10th March 2004:

I think not, little stumpy ferret! I fart in your general direction!

It was, will, willanwason be funny forever!

(to keep the time travelling humour simmering under the surface...)
Posted by Brock, 22:32, 10th March 2004:

(For when Uma logs on and doesn't get it, the 'willanwason' thing is a nod toward "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and it's description of the havoc caused to grammar and the use of tenses after the advent of time travel).
Posted by Alfie, 22:33, 10th March 2004:

Bingo
Posted by Alfie, 22:35, 10th March 2004:

For when Uma logs on and doesn't get it, the 'Bingo' thing is a nod toward an increadibly dull concept where loads of chattering old ladies get together to chat and listen to a man reading out number for two hours. Or as the adverts for Mecca Bingo would have us believe a group of braindead giggling girls get together and talk bollox and check out blokes
Posted by Brock, 22:36, 10th March 2004:

Erm, Alfie? Are you having a bad day? You seem harsher than normal. Or has Abe got your log in?
Posted by Alfie, 22:37, 10th March 2004:

Final project report due in next week. thousands of words going through my head. most of them being "Fuck this Shit" Sorry
Posted by Brock, 22:41, 10th March 2004:

No need for apologies, my little fluffy cherub. I prescribe a half bottle of Jack Daniels. To be taken immediately.

Allow the brain to completely empty by anaesthetising it good and proper. Start with a blank page tomorrow. Things will be so much clearer. And even if they aren't, you'll have been too pissed to care for some of tonight! Result!
Posted by Abe Frohman, 23:15, 10th March 2004:

I dunno, Brock has a nice Ho Chi Minh/Chicken Chow Mein thing going on up there^
Posted by WarHead, 23:42, 10th March 2004:

Alfie, I beg to differ, once again. Humour is subjective and it made ME fucking laugh right up to Sul's 'cool' comment.

As far as the typo is concerned, I intended to type 'whoa.' On reflection I realise this is the wrong word in this context, it should indeed have been 'woe' but that made it all the more funny to me.

And, er, good luck with the project.
Posted by Alfie, 00:44, 11th March 2004:

Whoa! stop right there fella
It was both a typo and a malapropism
fair enough
Posted by Alfie, 00:47, 11th March 2004:

bought a porche yet?

There will be no Porsche for me. They're just like a bogey with a motor and bodywork. I prefer a little more comfort.

That's Porsche with an 's' btw, if we're being pedantic.

"That's Porsche with an 's' btw, if we're being pedantic."

sorry for insinuating that you are an old man in the middle of a midlife crisis :D
Posted by Uma, 06:37, 11th March 2004:

Ag, piss off, you's. I can't be gorgeous *and* clever. That just wouldn't be fair...
Posted by WarHead, 08:44, 11th March 2004:

Alfie, I AM having a mid-life crisis, but it's not the kind that makes me want to buy flash cars.

"As if the shop would have $998,328 change on the premesis"
Actually, most branches of Wal Mart do have banks in them.... sooooo it could be a possibility.
Have you SEEN how big those stores are?
Posted by Doctor Lucid, 13:17, 11th March 2004:

I'd like to see any building with that amount of money in small change in it.

It would be cool. I'm not doubting the existence of one. I'd just like to see it. Like those videos in science class where they whisk the molten cheese.

There is no shortage of stupidity in america that is for sure.
