Seeing as this is the introductions page, I am saying Hi. I am a new user, please don't slaughter me.

WarHead, 20:18, 22nd March 2004:
Have you had a look around kaila? Do you know what you're getting in to?
Be careful of that Brock. He has "busy hands".

Brock, 20:22, 22nd March 2004:
I just called, to say, I love you!
*dooby-doo...*

A highly well crafted first post. Well done. That's very rare round here.
Posted by
WarHead, 20:24, 22nd March 2004:
Which one?
This one:
"Brock, 20:01 26 November 2003 :
I have been looking at iamcal for a while now (can't remember where I got the link from) and have been reading and watching long enough to be amused and form enough of a picture of the people on here that I am starting to feel like a stalker.
Best I get of my fat harris and say something then, thunk I.
How's it going, and why have you been letting a load of dipsticks start threads on your intro page? The quality of new people posts is significantly lower than I am used to reading! Maybe I just don't check the intro page enough...."

WarHead, 20:30, 22nd March 2004:
That must have been edited at some point then.
Don't slaughter you? Very well, i shall put away my samurai sword.
Posted by
cal, 21:06, 22nd March 2004:
hi kaila - who's your favourite beegee?
(note that it's a proper manly samurai sword, not some nancy-boy cutlass like Brock would use)
ooh ooh, why do the newbies get the good questions?
Posted by
cal, 21:36, 22nd March 2004:
you may answer aswell vic
Cool, I'll go for the one who had long hair and a high voice then.

WarHead-I believe I have an idea as to what I am getting in to. I have read some stuff and you guys make me laugh. So, I may not have much to say, but I figured I should let you know I am here.
Also, I'll have to agree with Abe Frohman about the beegees.
I like that one too.

Alfie, 23:00, 22nd March 2004:
hell, i'd approve him/her
oh, hang on.

Brock, 23:38, 22nd March 2004:
2 points I'd like to raise.
1. How the fuck did Arsepuppy bump my first post? I looked for a while after I replied to that and no-one was posting. Does he have admin rights?
I figure I am seeing a post-edit piss take of me (fair enough) but I don't get the gag. (not fair enough!). Explain, Bumdog!
WH: Not edited. Original post. I used to be funny
and polite. :( It all went to pieces when I got dragged in by the disease that is Abe-banter.
2. Abe: Fuck you. Has the metal in your sword been folded 200 times, and was it given to you by the father of a Japanese woman you were married to? No. Well kiss my ferret then, Ikea-sword boy.
wow, i take it back. impress me more with your geeky sword knowledge.

Sul, 23:48, 22nd March 2004:
I fucking hope AP doesnt have admin rights. I've made far too many pop-culture fuckups of late. I'd lose my approval like *that* if he did.

Brock, 23:51, 22nd March 2004:
His post wasn't there for ages. I was checking the threads for about 5 minutes after I posted, F5-ing like a lunatic before I went out (to win the pub quiz *smug*), and there was no post after mine for all the time before I left.
What dictates the time stamp, cal? Could that have been sitting on his machine for a while and only been displayed when he pressed 'post'? Does the time stamp go from when you posted, or when you started typing?
Posted by
Sul, 23:59, 22nd March 2004:
Wouldnt it be great if cal somehow logged everything typed into the reply box. That'd be weird huh?
But no. It goes on when the server registers the post.
(I'm joking, of course, if Cal shoots me down)
Posted by
cal, 00:53, 23rd March 2004:
sul is correct - the ordering is based on timestamp which is based on time of clicking "Post This Reply". unless the server synced time to the master time server at that exact point...

Was sind genau Sie Zickleinvorschlagen? Belästigen Sie Wunder, was zu seinem ersten Punkt genau unten passen könnte. Beschrieb kalla überhaupt ihr Liebling Biene gee? So viele Gestopftfragen!

Alfie, 12:13, 23rd March 2004:
Your name will also go on the list
"I must say that I am confused. This whole conversation ' of the push ' and ' posts edit ' and ' back dog wells ' penetrate vibration pretends me in my loadings. What are precise you to kid's suggestions? Bother miracle what could fit to his first point exactly below. Did her favourite Biene gee describe kalla generally? So many stuffed questions!"
... or something?

and Uma your too kind *blushes* I hope I get approved. and yes Abe Princess Bride is probably my favorite movie ever. Tied with PI of course ;).
Westley: There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. 'Twould be a pity to damage yours.
Vizzini: You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is: "Never get involved in a land war in Asia." But, only slightly less well known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian, when death is on the line!"
