and instead of a trip to New York, my thoughtful husband and kids thought that a dishwasher would be a more practical present and last longer.
Posted by
Brock, 13:20, 23rd March 2004:
Boo. Unlucky.
Posted by
Uma, 13:21, 23rd March 2004:
That sucks. But Happy Birthday anyway...
Posted by
Brock, 13:24, 23rd March 2004:
No it doesn't. It cleans plates, dopey.
Posted by
Uma, 13:26, 23rd March 2004:
Doesn't matter what it does, a trip to NY is better. Unromantic bastard. A dishwasher! That's a most un-PC birthday present. Throw off those shackles janine
Posted by
Uma, 13:27, 23rd March 2004:
..and burn that bra
Posted by
Brock, 13:31, 23rd March 2004:
Maybe he bought you a dishwasher so that the two of you could spend less time washing up during the day, thereby leaving room for making more "sweet, sweet lurve..".
Now, that would be more romantic, wouldn't it?

Brock, 13:31, 23rd March 2004:
Re: Bra-burning.
Take it off, first though, eh? Burnt Boobies=Bad
Posted by
janine, 13:33, 23rd March 2004:
dont worry Uma, he is already regretting the dishwasher, because I have told him I need a new kitchen, because the dishwasher looks out of place in my old one.
Posted by
Uma, 13:35, 23rd March 2004:
That's better
Posted by
Brock, 13:42, 23rd March 2004:
Look, see? Two women talking, and already they have steered it onto combined kitchens and shopping.
And they say stereotypes are harsh...

Uma, 13:47, 23rd March 2004:
You edited, you bastard...
...the only other thing I can talk about is sex, and that's not popular here
Well, with some members... tell you what though, it's popular with me!
Posted by
Brock, 13:49, 23rd March 2004:
It would be a bloody sight more popular if I could get any!
I have nothing against talking about sex, by the way. Nothing at all...
Posted by
Uma, 13:51, 23rd March 2004:
Aurghughuhghu
That's tantric breathing...
...it sounds bloody creepy when you hear it for the first time
I think the fact that the amount of men outweighs the amount of women by a long way could have something to do with that It would be like having a threesome with your best mate and his girlfriend. Odd.
(I don't think it quite translates well in writing uma)

Uma, 13:53, 23rd March 2004:
I can hold my own with y'all
Posted by
Uma, 13:54, 23rd March 2004:
Do men not talk about sex with each other?
Funny, that's all I seem to be doing recently as well...
Posted by
Uma, 13:56, 23rd March 2004:
hehe. I knew that was coming...
Posted by
Uma, 13:58, 23rd March 2004:
PERCI!!!!!!!
No i'm not "pleasing myself" as we speak. Don't worry. I'm actually eating another massive bowl of egg fried rice with chicken. And i've just catipulted my chopsticks onto the floor... again...

I think a dishwasher is a great bday pressie for a woman - what's wrong with you?
Blimey - I agree with Brock on this one - more time for love and less hassle washing up.
Only you have to load and unload the machine of course, now, what a drag!
Posted by
Uma, 14:31, 23rd March 2004:
no, no, no
*shakes head*
dishwashers you get anyway. birthdays are for:
perfume, jewellery, (trips to NY), a week at a spa (mine) etc etc

Uma, 14:31, 23rd March 2004:
You see, even Abe gets it! (that's apalling, girls)
Posted by
Brock, 15:00, 23rd March 2004:
Why are wedding dresses white?
To go with the fridge, the cooker, dishwasher and all the other kitchen goods...

Oh, by the way, Happy Birthday, Janine!
:)
Posted by
Uma, 15:02, 23rd March 2004:
They should be silver, then...
to go with the meat cleaver,
butcher knife, skewer
Posted by
Brock, 15:04, 23rd March 2004:
friday: In that case, lets teach the kids to unload and load the thing.

Posted by
WarHead, 22:19, 23rd March 2004:
'knew' eh? That's sad.
Janine, next year ask for a Rampant Rabbit. Or do you already have one?
Posted by
Brock, 23:01, 23rd March 2004:
'Knew' in the biblical sense :D She
rawked!
I was working part time winding up the team I was working for at the time that went bust. She used to pass my flat on the way to college and decide that lectures were too much hassle, she'd then buy bacon and bread at the shop round the corner and turn up at mine about quarter to 9. We'd then spend all morning in bed trying to put each others backs out, then she'd make me a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea, then go to afternoon lectures. Fantastic girl, and very lovely, too. And if I hadn't have had to move to the other end of the country... Who knows?
:(

janine, 23:22, 23rd March 2004:
War Head, yes I am the satisfied owner of a rampant rabbit , known affectionatly as bugsy, it was purchased last year for my birthday, by myself.
Posted by
Sul, 23:26, 23rd March 2004:
hehe. Pity its not named "Bucky" because I hear "he goes where no ordinary rabbit would dare"

Posted by
Brock, 23:31, 23rd March 2004:
did I say that out loud?
Posted by
janine, 23:32, 23rd March 2004:
sorry Brock, my "pooper" is an exit not an entrance
Posted by
Brock, 23:38, 23rd March 2004:
Hahahaha!
That my dear, is why you got a dishwasher, and not a trip to NY...
;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Brock, 00:05, 24th March 2004:
Christ. Is there no limit to the results women can get from the "incorrect present" guilt trip?
Why doesn't it work for blokes?
*sulks*
Posted by
janine, 00:10, 24th March 2004:
It has nothing to do with guilt, I have promised to read to him tonight.
Posted by
Brock, 00:11, 24th March 2004:
Is his cooking
that bad?
oh, I get it. ;)
Posted by
janine, 00:15, 24th March 2004:
My husband does'nt cook, my god, he's a Northern man, he would rather cut off his knackers than be seen doing "womens work"
Posted by
Brock, 00:17, 24th March 2004:
My mate's from the north. He doesn't cook either.
Mind you, he's a stumpy twat, so he probably can't reach the cooker. Oh well.
Posted by
Brock, 00:18, 24th March 2004:
Anyway, he could cook in the dark. he wouldn't be seen then, would he?
That may not do anything for the resulting quality, mind you.
Posted by
janine, 00:21, 24th March 2004:
I have an image of that little Welsh twat Pancho in my mind now,

Brock, 09:36, 24th March 2004:
Flossing her back teeth with the big pink tooth brush?
Posted by
WarHead, 09:41, 24th March 2004:
Something very much along those lines.
BTW Janine, I'm a 'Northern Man' (TM) but I wash the pots and vac around on a regular basis. He needs dragging into the 21st century. Possibly by his knackers.

Uma, 09:46, 24th March 2004:
