Some of those are cheating really. Chances are, if forfeit is e before i then forfeiting is going to be also.

even so :)
and abe: gayer doesn't have an "i" in it at all so you lose (it does however have a "u" as in "abe frohman, u gayer")

None taken, mate.
BTW, I'm not little.
And I'd take issue with 'humourless.'
In fact the only one I'm comfortable with is talentless.
Did you compile that list yourself or see it elsewhere?

er...sorry, i'm not comfortable with "talentless" either, warhead ;)
and if i'm not mistaken, the i before e rule only applies when the sound is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (methinks)
as in eeeeeek

Ah but you know some of my talents. I don't make them all that widely known.

If I had compiled the list myself then your "get a fucking life" comment may have been justified.

That's alright then. Well done.
I take back my 'get a fucking life' comment.
If only you'd said, 'I stole this off the net.'
I hate these lovers' tifs. I always feel so guilty afterwards.

syl: that may very well be the case, however, in schools kids seem to be taught "I before E, except after C" as the whole rule. And it's therefore a really crap rule.
There was another list somewhere of words where the is an i before e after a c.

OK WH :) I take back my comment, apart from the last word of the first line
;)
