Ultrix (Digital's flavour of Unix) used to have some weird and wonderful error messages.

I fondly remember, 'This must be here.' Never did find out exactly what it meant.

Another good one was before we had UPS's and had a power failure. JUST before the screen went blank it would say, 'Power fa'
