If you had to give up one sense (sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell), which one would it be and why?
Posted by Sul, 21:04, 29th April 2004:

Easy, smell. I can enjoy telly exactly the same without it.
Posted by Kallese, 21:06, 29th April 2004:

I vote Brock give up his sense of humor...

har har har!
Posted by Alfie, 21:19, 29th April 2004:

sense of direction - mine is bloody crap anyway
Posted by cal, 21:21, 29th April 2004:

taste and smell are closely linked, so you can't lose one completely without losing the other. i'd lose smell i guess.
Posted by cal, 21:21, 29th April 2004:

sense of entitlement ;)
Posted by Sul, 22:05, 29th April 2004:

That sense of disappointment that never leaves me.
Posted by Jason, 22:21, 29th April 2004:

Common sense, it's never really needed as far as I can tell.
Posted by Abe Frohman, 23:12, 29th April 2004:

Sight, cos i always liked 'Blind Fury'
Posted by jeffld, 23:17, 29th April 2004:

smell would be my first choice.

I recently heard that Zinc can destroy your sense of smell.

hearing. I can't hear what people say half the time anyway.

/knocks on wood
Posted by Sul, 23:25, 29th April 2004:

Last thing to go for me would be my hearing.
Life sucks without a soundtrack.
Posted by Kallese, 23:41, 29th April 2004:

I'd give up my sixth sense.
Posted by Brock, 00:03, 30th April 2004:

Kallese: Bollocks.

;)
Posted by reitsma, 00:26, 30th April 2004:

i'd give up 20 cents if i had to.

otherwise, i would probably give up my sense of taste - seeing as the more defined sense of taste actually comes from our sense of smell.
Posted by Alfie, 00:40, 30th April 2004:

Brock: Your bollocks aren't a sense - moron
Posted by syl, 07:33, 30th April 2004:

Smell. (Would be the one I'd miss the least) Feeling better Brock?
Posted by Brock, 09:09, 30th April 2004:

Alfie: They aren't an oxymoron, either, I guess.

And yes, I am feeling better, ta!
Posted by Grim..., 09:13, 30th April 2004:

I think maybe taste, then I could eat healthy stuff and it wouldn't taste bad.

Plus you could just hold a nice object under your nose and it would seem like you are eating the nice thing.

Good thinking, Grim...!
Posted by syl, 09:14, 30th April 2004:

"And yes, I am feeling better, ta!"

Uh-Oh...good news for you, bad news for me!
;)
Posted by su, 12:35, 30th April 2004:

i'll give up ESP
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:38, 30th April 2004:

I have virtually no sense of smell anyway, in that I cannot smell in one nostril (as I once burned the inside of it with a fag lighter aged 14), and the other one comes and goes, possibly as a result of the cigs, too.
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:40, 30th April 2004:

"Good thinking, Grim...!"

Fair enough.
Posted by Kallese, 13:52, 30th April 2004:

Kallese: Bollocks.

Me ever touching your bollocks...that would be the "In your fucking dreams" sense, right?
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:54, 30th April 2004:

I think Brock just dreams of anyone touching bis bollocks, well apart from himself that is.
Posted by Brock, 13:56, 30th April 2004:

Kallese:
Dunno. Not seen a picture. Might be a whole kind of nightmare thing.

There's a big slab of pulsating Brock right here, ladies!!

Come and get it!

(before I forget how to use it)
Posted by Abe Frohman, 19:18, 30th April 2004:

How much cooler would it be if this thread was about sensei's.
Posted by Brock, 19:19, 30th April 2004:

between 18 and 22% I am guessing.

Any advance?

What, I'm supposed to whack it over the head with a cleaver until it dies, then slice off a nice thick piece to eat with some mash?

kosher.
Posted by Brock, 20:39, 30th April 2004:

If that's what gets you hot, I suppose.

Or you could get Syl to jump out in front of me naked. that'd probably be quicker than the cleaver.

;)
Posted by su, 07:24, 1st May 2004:

how about we bypass the cleaver and go for a swift kick
Posted by Brock, 09:57, 1st May 2004:

I am starting to wonder if all this inherent hostility from yourself and Kallese really does hide some sort of innate fascination with me.

Is it born from a deep frustration at being thousands of miles from me? Although obviously your ire, su, is further exacerbated by the 'kitchen sink' rejection, this does all smack somewhat of the 'boys pulling the pigtails of the girls they fancy' stereotype so reminiscent of kids at school.

Face it girls, you want a piece of red hot Brock-Lovin' and you don't know how to show your deep despair at being (respectively) 12,000 and 3,400 miles away from me.

Bless.

this from a bug who shagged me while i was asleep.
Yet didn't even have the energy to hold it up.
Posted by Brock, 11:08, 1st May 2004:

I'd rather bend a soft one into you than miss the opportunity, sweetie. You looked so hot, just sat there with your arse in the air.

You don't just think I'm sexy, do you?
Posted by su, 11:13, 1st May 2004:

i know you are but what am i?

sometimes schoolyard retorts are the most effective
