there have been some complaints about my slightly code oriented return to weblogging, so:
the
iamcal network relaunches with links to 68 sites.
crappy dialup opens it's doors to gullible customers.
london bloggers gets it's domain back (and passes the 1000 mark, almost at 1100).
Digital Web Magazine relaunches with a cal-built cms.

Cal - on the front page of London Bloggers you've got "I\'m just going to have to trust you completely by adele green".
Are you not stripping slashes?
Wow! I'm on there!! Woo!
Better update that site, methinks.

How did you lose the London Bloggers domain in the first place?

i don't actually own it, and when i moved it from the emap server it originally lived on a couple of years ago, i couldn;t find out who owned it to get it updated. but in the end he contacted me as it was about to expire

Brock - bit of a typo there, i think. The second word of the second sentence has an "L" in it that shouldn't be there.

grim: there was an issue with slashing hanging around if a form was half completed when submitted (they appeared in the half complete form given back to the user, who then submitted it with the slashes in).
nowadays i turn off all auto slashing for everything. more trouble than it's worth.

"auto slashing"
*schoolboy snigger*
Do you have to make sure you are standing next to the toilet at the right time? Or do you wear one of those little bags that you strap to your leg?
That's a thought. Do you have to be careful when you sit down with those things as well? 'Cos if you sit on it funny, it'll fire it all back in. Yuck. It might fire out of your mouth or something. That'd spoil the posh dinner party, eh?
