humanity at it's worst - why do they do it?
today i walked past a mime, i would have avioided it but on the other side of the street was some tacky street vendor selling raffle tickets.

By carnies, I am assuming gypsy/fair people ara an equivalent. They irritate the crap out of me.

There was a fair in my town (right outside my window, basically, such is the fun of living in the town cantre) and when they were here for 2 weekends in a row, we had to have loads of extra police. I ended up on the last Saturday night breaking up a fight when 3 of them were trying to kick the shit out of the husband of someone I know. They tripped him up and took a running kick at his head, which struck me as rather unfriendly. There's always loads of fights whenever they come to town.

Tossers. I ended up cleaning the blood off him in my kitchen at 2 in the morning. My house STUNK of TCP for a week after that.
Posted by su, 13:40, 23rd May 2004:

yes they are the same

i also forgot ferrals, but nobody likes them.

People who post apathy-less polls *grumble grumble*

TCP is rubbish. get Betadene. it's freakishly good -- the aussie army nicknamed it "magic" when it first came out because it worked on anything and nothing got past it.

just don't vote
apathy is for pussys

where is the option for 'Women driving big cars'?
Posted by Brock, 15:57, 24th May 2004:

'...badly.'

Oh. Wait.

Unnecessary additional information. I retract that.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:59, 24th May 2004:

You dont even need to write that Brock, it just rolls of the tongue with such natural ease.

try it: Women driving big cars....badly!!

See how easy that is!?

Smelly fucking pikey kids on the bus ..... but that's a specific irritation today.
Posted by samhandwich, 10:17, 25th May 2004:

Hmm, it should be obvious really. I hate the little pikey chavsters, there's a lad who lives opposite me who seems to like nothing better than to wear Burberry and sit in his car "wit' phat alloys and a fuckin' bangin' sound system" while revving the engine and blasting out the random shit music he likes. All this is completely despite the fact that he can't drive yet, and has failed his theory test a few times. Wanker.
Posted by Grim..., 10:32, 25th May 2004:

What car is it?

Micra?
Corsa?
Posted by Grim..., 10:32, 25th May 2004:

Is the car parked on the road?
If it is, next time he gets into it call the police.
Posted by samhandwich, 10:36, 25th May 2004:

I'm not sure(crap at cars), plus it's been debadged and the ridiculously huge spoiler makes it even harder for me to tell. Yeah it is parked on the road, but what can the police do, as soon as he sees them he'll just turn off his engine. I'll call Mr. T instead I think. He'd sort out that damn chav foo'!
Posted by Grim..., 10:40, 25th May 2004:

Er, Mr T. is a chav.

Super-fast van, lots of gold?

Tell the police to turn up unmarked.
Posted by samhandwich, 10:46, 25th May 2004:

You're right, shit!
I seem to remember this lad's been in trouble with the police a few times, once for trashing somebodies car, because he looked at his mates girlfriend funnily, and another time when he and a couple of mates thought it would be fun to kick the crap out of some random guy.
Posted by Grim..., 10:52, 25th May 2004:

Call them!
Call them!
Posted by Brock, 11:04, 25th May 2004:

Not sure if it's illegal to rev up a parked car. He has a provisional license, presumably, and I wonder if he is deemed as 'driving' the car when he is just sitting in it... If he sits in it with one of his mates that does have a license, he's doing nothing wrong.

However, if he's not driving it, I would be surprised if it's MOT'd or insured... NOW you can screw him over... It must be insured, MOT'd and Taxed to be on the road.

Go and get him!
Posted by Grim..., 11:29, 25th May 2004:

Brock: I'd assume it is MOT'd, insured and taxed if he is learning to drive in it.

If he only has a provisional lisence he is not allowed to sit in the driving seat of a running car on his own, and if he has a passenger they must be over 21 and have held a full lisence for 3 years and he also has to have two 'L' plates on his car, one on the front and one on the back.
Posted by Grim..., 11:30, 25th May 2004:

Oh, and you don't need an MOT to be able to park a car on the road, but you do to start it =]

You missed off the crucial entry;

Townies.
Posted by carbonite, 13:57, 25th May 2004:

By the way, where is the town 'cantre' Brick?
Posted by Brock, 14:06, 25th May 2004:

It's a small annexe of flats and shops in my town, next to the Market Square. It was named by the Mayor about 5 years ago. He decided to name it with a small 'c' deliberately as a means of trying to convey a less formal air about the place.

It's considered one of the coolest places to live, here. Only the best, coolest and cleverest people are granted residency permits, and there is a 5 year waiting list.

So shove that up your arse.
Posted by Grim..., 10:28, 26th May 2004:

I don't see how Townies can annoy.

They're just funny and sad, that's all.

Gypsies annoy me more than townies.
Posted by su, 10:33, 26th May 2004:

Brock sorry to let you in on this, but in actual fact, it's a huge consipracy. The only reason you got in is that they like to keep all the freaks on one place.

/bashes desk

Goddamn it! The bastards!
Posted by WarHead, 12:53, 26th May 2004:

I'm still thinking about them pikey kids on the bus. There were about six of them, early teens. First of all, they stank absolutely 'orrible and you could smell 'em at the front of the bus even though they sat right at the back. I think a few people got up and moved because they were so mingin.' Secondly, they were talking at the top of their voices about who they were gonna shag, among other things .... that's when you could understand anything they said.

I think I'm beginning to understand why Hitler wanted some people sterilised. These people should NOT be allowed to procreate.

Discuss.
Posted by WarHead, 13:01, 26th May 2004:

BTW, how are 'old people' defined in this poll? Just relative to the voter, or people over 'a certain age?' If the latter, what age are we talking about? (I'm a bit worried about this cos I may have just voted for meself.)
Posted by Brock, 13:09, 26th May 2004:

They say as you get older that you lose track of everything, and become easily confused, don't they?

And as for the "sterilising the pikey's", I proffer no argument, but merely suggest adding "stupid people" to the same pile. We'll never make anything of ourselves as a race because we will be bred out by all the Sun reading thickies that multiply their shell-suited offspring in numbers of 8 and 10 in between smoking 500 fags a day, watching Corrie and claiming as many benefits as they can get away with.

Bastards.

This is from the man who wrote ...

... whatever that means.

I appear to have been having a bit of a moment with that post. I think I covered the "town cantre" one rather well, but that one is a little trickier to explain away...

Premature ageing, perhaps?

he was channeling a gypsy?

(I don't get that. Is it a geek joke?)
Posted by su, 13:55, 26th May 2004:

well i figured they don't speak proper like
so maybe they don't spell proper
so at the moment you typed a gypsy entered your body and took over your hands for all of 5 letters

*Considers Googling for 'channeling' but decides against it.*
Posted by WarHead, 13:57, 26th May 2004:

I don't think he'd want a gypsy entering his body ...... dunno though.
Posted by cal, 17:27, 26th May 2004:

neither of you understand "channeling"?

thickos
Posted by Brock, 17:29, 26th May 2004:

Explain then, oh Guru of all things geek-some.

Or are you bluffing?
Posted by Sul, 17:40, 26th May 2004:

It's not a geek term. It's that thing mediums do when they speak in a dodgy voice at a saince (sp?) pretending to be old dead fred or the fallen angel himself. Channeling the spirit through their body.
Posted by Brock, 17:41, 26th May 2004:

Ah. The bullshit side of life that I distance myself from to avoid being irritated by idiots.
