Hey! Yeah, I'll take one.

but, uh... yeah.. If you're giving them away, cheers.

I'm vaguely respectable, whilst being very quiet.

well if you've still got any to spare then chuck an invite my way please: samhandwich@hotmail.com

a little dubious about the things i've heard about it though. apparently it reads your mail so it can generate revenue by showing you specific advertisements.

I just logged into my SBC Yahoo email to see if the lovely and highly intelligent su had sent me the info about Gmail.

It is too bad you are thousands of miles away su. I think I would like to take you out for pizza.

When I logged into my SBC Yahoo webmail account I discovered that SBC Yahoo has increased the account from 10MB to 100MB and removed all the advertisements! Gmail seems to be putting the pressure on the others? What a strange coincidence.

No matter. I'm still interested in seeing what is involved with Gmail.

I thought gmail was to be avoided because it will become a tool of the authorities to track our every thought and deed. Or are some folk just being paranoid again?

Where did you hear that WH?
Posted by Saltation, 14:27, 16th June 2004:

WH: yeah, but if you don't think and you don't do anything, you're fine. so that's 99% of the population secure.

my email has as about 100Gb of space right now. Online e-mail scares me cos I think some system somewhere in the world might accidentally delete it all. I like having all mine on the PC so i can accidentally delete it myself.

it's the personal touch that we all truly appreciate, isn't it

I have too many dog damn mail accounts already. And since Yahoo have upped my accounts from 6 to 100mb I don't need any more.

I like it so far. I usually do research at work and mail it to myself at home. I now email it to gmail so that I can see how well their searching functions work.
