Looking at the weather, I am now very glad I chose not to pay an extortionate price to sit in a field of mud for a few days. I fear we may lose uncle dr moc lucid to mud and drugs though, hopefully he wont pass out long enough to be buried in the slurry...

I made the mistake of cycling to the festival on one occasion. Didnt have a ticket, but met these 2 hippies on their way out (excuse pun) who gave me 2 pieces of paper and said, you can get in with these. I thought they must be tripping, but tried my luck on the gate. These were not tickets I had, but torn off corners from a flyer. I got in, but then got lost on my way to the Avalon field (where I could safely dump my bike) and ended up on a bridge with about 200 people and my bike. I just kept my head down and toured the festival in embarassment, until I found my mates camp.

ha ha!

I'm glad I'm not going either...

(trans: I couldn't get a ticket due to the shocking new anti-scally ticket ordering scheme. "Don't have internet access? Can't afford to be on the phone all day? Then you can't come to our festival!" even though the lineup is yet again none-more-generic. Oasis, Muse and Sir Thumbs Aloft? No ta.)
