letting you do your own links?
no it's not a good idea.
Bah, you win AGAIN technology!
Is there anyway of preventing Doc from using very old threads?
someone please come up with a suggestion!

i think once you stop finding it annoying he might stop, but then again he might not.
I dont find it annoying..its just a pain in the ass.
why is it a pain in the arse? if you don't want to read them, don't read them. it hardly eats into your day to open a thread, skip to end to see what's added and if it's interesting to you, and to move on if it's not. one mouse click, one key click, a couple of seconds to read. hardly a hassle.
plus you get to revisit some brilliant threads.
personally, i'm really enjoying it.
I work, so i dont have that much time to read through old threads and then read the ramblings of a drug enduced Doc.
I want/need new chat.

It's the fact that in between "open a thread" and "skip to the end" I feel the urge to read our ramblings usually over 2 years old. and some of those threads are damned long, regardless of how fast a reader you might be.
"personally, i'm really enjoying it."
You know you can trawl the archives and read old threads that way too.
Ok, i've been practicing my linking, is this any better?
