So. You're 17, but are living away from home AND have managed to save £2K for a car?
What do you do for a living? Rob banks?
Posted by
Brock, 14:06, 23rd July 2004:
And where are you from?
(We know you live in Berkshire/Surrey area, but is that where you come from?)
Posted by
Brock, 14:07, 23rd July 2004:
And can you save some money for me please, cos I'm shit at it.

How big are your bew-bees?
Careful Lau, this sounds like pre-stalking preparation work.
no, no, i think we can safely say they're past the pre-stalking stage
chatrooms have grooming
forums have grimming
and then you just get the perverted little brockers who turn up everywhere (fnarr fnarr)

And what's wrong with that, immigrant?
I don't claim to be pure.

Yeah, and I just asked the question that everybody wanted to know the answer to anyway.
i never said there was anything WRONG with it, did i? merely making an observation.

Lol. I live in Blackwater which is, as I said, in between Reading and Guildford. That's the best way to descibe it, as no one ever knows where it is. Camberley, Sandhurst and Yateley are the surrounding areas.
I work in a curtain and blinds shop (Howards Blinds) in Bracknell. I don't make fabulous amounts of money, but I force myself to save in case I need it. And as I said, I regularly go without food because of it.
Any other questions?

lau, 17:42, 23rd July 2004:
Oh and I slightly mis-read your question. I lived in the same house (in Blackwater) all my life, til just before I turned 16. Then I moved about and stayed with friends for about 9 months in the same area, before moving in to my own place about 3 roads away from my original home.

nah man, try something like "STFU goat sniffer" or somesuch. Please.
I think Waynes World want their joke back.
hehe. Last night, when being chatted up by a Septic in a pub last night, I found myself becoming *exactly* like Del Preston off Wayne's World 2. Which is weird, since usually when I get propositioned, I become like Garth in the Kim Basinger scenes...

Did you actually get ravaged then, bumdog? Or did you manage to fuck it all up at the last minute in such a manner as to make me feel proud and able to relate to?
Did you go on and put on a great show?
Nah... I still could, if I wanted to...
TBH, it feels good to have some options open, as it were. I mean, excuse my wankeredness, but a couple of weeks back, I nearly broke up with t'other half due to an incident involving her and one of my closest buds, but it's sorted now. Long story short, it was the pop that caused it, and I cannae argue with that. It's all good now, but it's nice to know that if it went a bit tits up, it won't be the end of the world, to be a bit melodramatic...
(that was a reply to brockles, btw)
On another note, I was disguted to discover that despite the fact they have upgraded Heineken to 5%, it still tastes like urine. Must Try Harder Peter Schmeichel.

Sul, 13:50, 25th July 2004:
Amazing Sul fact number 6 - I've always had a soft spot for a drop of Heineken. Even when it was piss weak.

The one from that's amazing, of course.
Just going back to the original convo, i lived in Blackwater until i was about 2, then moved to sandhurst until about a year ago, now live in Frimley (right next to blackwater), whereabouts in blackwater lau?
I usually say i live between reading and guildford too as its so much easier.
Posted by
Sul, 17:43, 26th July 2004:
"Where do you live?"
"Blackwater"
"Where's that?"
"Between Reading and Guildford"
Yeah, I see what you mean. That must be a bitch of a conversation to have.

No. But it does get very annoying. And between Reading and Guildford could actually be quite a few place. Gah. I can't be bothered.
cruelemort: What am I meant to give you my road name? It's so small you're out of it before you know you're in it! How am I meant to say a certain part?

Some people call me 'The Space Cowboy'
Posted by
lau, 19:20, 26th July 2004:
Why?
Posted by
Brock, 19:56, 26th July 2004:
The place I worked at when I was 18 (Reynard Racing Cars) was full of pisstaking bastards. It's where I honed some of my skills. This was in 1990, the year that the Steve Miller Band re-released the track (I seem to recall it was in some advert or something).
I used to sing along to the radio a lot, and got plenty of stick for it. I made the mistake of singing along to that song, and the whole Space Cadet/Space Cowboy/waste of space piss take took off. I was then known as "Space" for about 5 years after that to the people that worked there.
There was even a "Happy Christmas to all our customers" kind of advert thing put into Autosport that year, and everyone was drawn by Jim Bamber (famous motorsport cartoonist) as a little racing driver on a big house covered in snow. Everyones names or nicknames were written on their characters crash helmets.
Mine said "Space".
Hence any danger of the nick name going died a hideous, internationally published, death.
:(
lau: it aint so small you cant give a general area (near/in the hersey estate, or beaulie gardens, or aldi etc) but dont worry, i used to live in christchurch drive, which is where they now have shit loads of tacky christmas lights as some kind of competition :)
Posted by
Brock, 20:58, 26th July 2004:
I thought that was to celebrate another year that you hadn't come back?
Don't blame me, I read it in the Parish newsletter.
No its an annual ritual to try and avoid baldness.

Christchurch has the damned best Christmas thingies ever! I go down there every year.
Beaulieu estate. But Beaulieu, Hersey and Aldi are all along the same fucking road! You can't really call them seperate areas.
