It has so many design no-nos. Background music, counters, the colors dont work together, there's too much on one page and there is one or two amimated gifs.

Of course I am not saying I´m an expert in these things (because I´m certainly not), its all stuff I´ve read out of ALOT of other sites, but I agree with all of them.

it is a horrific site, UI-wise

What do you mean? That's what sites ought to look like. It's cool.

Actually, I prefer the site to the helmets. But only because I don't like gadgets.
