---twee alert---
Steve and I are back from holiday.
We went to Devon for a week then Reading for a few days then drove back home then we went to Paris for a couple of days.
We went to the top of the Eiffel tower and then Steve asked me to marry him ! (and I said yes)
The wedding will hopefully be on June 16th 2006 in Holland.
Rosie, if you want to come you are most welcome (as is anyone else who really wants to)
my apologies to the grumpy old men for invading this space with cliché romance :D
---return to normal service---
Aww, that's really sweet :)
Congratulations you two!
:D Yaaaaay
You should get Cal to sponsor the wedding. Get T-shirts done.
"I visited iamcal and all I got was this lousy T-shirt - and a husband/wife (delete as appropriate)"

Posted by
Brock, around 19th June 2005:
Good to see that you aren't being entirely mercenary there, Miki.
:)
:D pie is good enough for me
which reminds me, Su is sending me quirky Kiwi choccie yay!
although in the grand tradition of weddings I must now try to loose a lot of weight in order to look like the wedding dress models :(
if you loose a weight, and it never comes back, it was never yours at all
fastest way to lose weight: remove ALL sugar/sugar-creating foods from your diet (e.g. potato, corn, white bread), and keep a good amount of rich fat IN the diet (to avoid the body shutting off the fat-burning cycle and to reduce appetite)
oat-based breakfast a pretty good idea too; helps stabilise bloodsugar and hence insulin (and hence cholesterol, while you're at it). porridge good, but if you prefer cereal, the only good one i've found in the UK is Biona's organic Honey/Hazel Crunchy. the others are all vile and quite unhealthy.
emma loves porridge

Brock, around 20th June 2005:
Best way to lose weight? Eat the same, but just shit more.
When on the can, just stay an extra 5 minutes and try a bit harder. Stop when you bleed.
Peasy, innit.
revolutionary!
I think you should write a book and have special dietary products for sale. The Brock Diet. You'll make a fortune.
Or, just after a satisfying meal, think about Brock's shiney head for a few seconds to help you retch the food back up.

Brock, around 20th June 2005:
Nice.
:/
Well I was being all agreeable with you on the grammar thing, so had to balance things out a bit.
Posted by
ellipse, around 21st June 2005:
don't do the lose weight before the wedding thing
it makes your wedding unhappy
plus i posted you enough products with sugar to sink an entire country
why does it make the wedding unhappy?
eat sugar if you want, but by itself -- ie not with food. ie not within a couple of hours after eating food, halfhour/hour before. sadly, chocolate has loads of fat in it so if you want choc, you'll have to go the 80+% cocoa dark choc, like Lindt. and who doesn't
Posted by
ellipse, around 21st June 2005:
i can confim miki has acces to just such chocolate
Congratulations! That's most exciting!
Oh, and porridge is cool.

Just as a matter of interest, are we the first iamcal couple to get married or did I miss someone's wedding (in which case sorry!)?
Posted by
plindoe, around 29th June 2005:
Vic married himself last year in Swindon, it was very nice!
I was never missing I just never turned up.
I was on holiday at the time and I came back to one missed call on my mobile but no voicemails or anything.
I knew about it at least a month in advance so I was not too bothered that they did not tell me about it at the time and was expecting an invitation.
Is there not a tradition in Holland that when a couple get married that they have to get the guests presents?
Posted by
plindoe, around 29th June 2005:
Must have been very drunk if I thought it was in Swindon!
You spoke to captain Walker recently? Think he did his first flight sat just gone
no beargod, you will get us presents!

"I knew about it at least a month in advance so I was not too bothered that they did not tell me about it at the time and was expecting an invitation."
Beargod, do you even want me to mention the fact many of your guests didn't actually get an invitation? Or the fact that as best man not even I got an invitation? Or a thank you note/card like you are supposed to send out after the wedding? Or the lack of wedding pictures from you, even though you have uploaded some of your mates weddding pics on flickr? Or should I not mention those? :D
Dude that was the females job :)
thanks dl
b33rgoad! well and come and back
WH: actually, the GI diet is describing me. but it's not new. french chap montignac or something was the first person to notice in modern times plus also the only one who's actually tested glycaemic index in terms of what it does in bloodstreams rather than laboratories. pork, for example, creates a lot of sugar while beef doesn't.
but the earliest recorded thing i've come across that says the same thing is The Banting Diet, which was really big in the 1800s.
oh, and you should add Chromium too -- it's a critical co-factor for insulin use in the body. plus also helps athletes build muscle faster.
and 3 little tubs of yoghurt a day are also very useful eg 1 after breakfast lunch and dinner, has big impact on weight loss/exchange of fat for muscle
All your goddamned neighing and whinneying is getting on my nerves! IT MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH YOU!!! Well, I guess I already do want to punch you, but IT MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH YOU EVEN HARDER! TWICE!!!
This iamcal is a whole retarded website about interpreting what horses are actually saying when they make their stupid horse sounds. I don't need no stupid website to know what they're saying. They're saying, "Hey! Look at me! I'm a smelly stupid horse with a big nose and face and I just look at you like an idiot because that's all I can do because I'm a horse and horses are fucking stupid!!!"
And I hate that stupid snorting sound you stupid horses are always making. I wish you were snorting a big pile of horse poison, so you would die, and there would be one less filthy horse to assault my senses with.
Did you get raped by horses as a child?
he got raped by children while a horse. he is now in deneighal.
i'm impressed he can type so cleanly with those hooves, actually. most delicate precision. well done, that horse!

Ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaa........ tick VG.
hehehe, top gaggery Salty. I salute you through a drunken haze.
Thanks for the messages Victor Menendez. You're a true friend and you can come again, anytime. When I know about making web pages, I may build one just for kids. They're more like me -- they're smart. They're true-blue. They've got pep and they're funny. They don't take things too seriously either. And they make the very best playmates. I'd really like to have one of my very own. Ciao!

I wish there was a filter to keep these kind of retards from posting to our wedding thread. Perhaps Cal could put in a filter so that new users can only read a tagged thread and not post to it?
Posted by
ellipse, around July 2005:
cal did have people as admins who could do that sort of thing
maybe he should again and by the way...
nice bling
What is a tag thread? I dont understand? Does cal have a filter to stop new members posting on any thread?? because I still cannot start a thread. Just because I hate horses does not mean you should judge me. Also I am upset that you think I am a retard, I am kind to all other animals and to kids, unless they are kids that ride horses with their HORRIBLE JODPHURS AND HORSE RIDING HELMETS and they just love to go to the stable and groom their parasite horse!!
Yesterday I was so ANGRY because I thought about horses whilst I was urinating and I slammed my fists on the door of the portaloo and they are all cut and bleeding.
I am a kind man and would never hurt a non horse. I would love to come to your wedding, or send you a wedding present if you would not like me to come because you haven't got to know me. I understand, I am concerned sometimes about meeting folks from the internet! They may be a kind hot girl with good webcam pose but sometimes it's just a hairy man who thinks you like surprises!
Anyway, over and out!!

Hey, Miki and Steve, wonderful news!
To you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we will commit the vindication of the Cause for which we fought. To your strength will be given the defence of the Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles which he loved and which you love also, and those ideals which made him glorious and which you also cherish. The South will rise again!
Long live the confederacy!
so random and yet friday is a horse riding girl ... eeeery coincidences
