Posted by Saltation_DUPE1, around 1st August 2005:

cal, this joke, like any good knockknock joke, is all about the banter, the giveNtake, the repartee, the quick comeback with the stock phrase.

specifically:

you were supposed to say:
"afraid not"

so that then i could say:
"yay!"

Hey, Cal?

Could us new people not be allowed to make just 1 new topic so we can say hello?
Posted by derren brown, around 5th August 2005:

Hey Cal, it says at the bottom of my screen,
"You are not allowed to post new topics at the moment. Posting topics is limited for new users.

To post topics you must have been a member for 2 days and have posted 10 replies.

You have been a member for less than a day and have posted Array replies."

I think you've got a little bug there, Calmeister.
Posted by Alfie_DUPE1, around 5th August 2005:

it used to say:

"and have posted replies."

not sure if "Array replies" is a step forward or backwards
Posted by derren brown, around 5th August 2005:

Perhaps it's just an ejaculation of joy derived from the pleasure of knowing that someone new is joining the throng.
Posted by cal_DUPE1, around 5th August 2005:

now fixed
Posted by derren brown, around 5th August 2005:

Strangely, somehow I'll miss it.
Posted by Saltation_DUPE1, around 5th August 2005:

sing that mournful folk lament, derren:
i'll go no more array-ing, with you redmaid
array-ing, array-ing, since array-ing's been my ru-i-n
i'll go no more array-ing, with you redmaid
Posted by Saltation_DUPE1, around 5th August 2005:

*sniff*
Posted by derren brown, around 5th August 2005:

I'll think about it.
Posted by WarHead, around 5th August 2005:

Arraying with redmaid? I think Alfie might have something to say about that.

As a completely different topic, is there an archive of the old discussions? I would love to find the posts where someone pretented to be Mr T to one of those frausters.
