...an unseasonably hot Spring Sunday in Johannesburg, South Africa. We're having a bit of a heat wave here in Jo'burg. We are about to sit down for sunday lunch : roast chicken, golden brown roast potatoes, rice and gravy and carrot cake for dessert. I am never going to be thin!
Hey, guys, log in and tell us where you are and a bit about what's going on for you, even if it's just what you're having for lunch! Cheers!
Sitting at the dining table reading the Sunday rags with a pint of coke and a laptop.
Well actually, if you want to be pedantic, I'm clearing stuff out of the way prior to ripping up a carpet.
Stuff includes a bag full of books and a microwave.
I have just tuned in to the Defcon Radio shoutcast. The late Richard Pryor is on.
I have just started the ripping process but have discovered that I need the loo.
I have finished in the loo.
I have now switched over to khaha.com, Lewis Black is on.
The carpet is half ripped up.
Redd Foxx is stalking me.
The carpet is up and I've hired a van. All I need now is nightfall and a layby. This is the last time I kill a whore. It's too much hassle the next day.
9 minutes in the loo? that's some serious loo action there.
i have read the Independent on Sunday and all of the non-glossy bits of the Sunday Time except the Appointments Section and the Britains Top Tech Companies special pull-out section.
i am now checking the internet for the first time since friday. i think.
(cross-posted...) y'know, i REALLY didn't see that one coming, sul.
It is the beginning of fall here in Chicago. I'm about to head to work. I sometimes work 7 days a week for a about a month 4 times out of the year.

I didn't know he had passed away, but it seems he's written a biography called I Ain't Dead Yet... :(

Sul, where did you hear that Richard Pryor is dead?

I didnt say he was dead. He was 15 minutes late for his gig.
In fact I was so drunk I slept with this indian grocer called Ramesh Ramesh
Sul, wasn't that a weird co-incidence. At the time I went looking for news that he had passed away and ended up joining his website and leaving some fan mail. It's very sad. What a loss. :(
