My ex (who modelled for for a number of years, including for a few high street names - Kookai and that sort of thing) said that drugs were rife. She was 18 at the time, and due to the fact that she is a bit of a psycho and unable to moderate herself, fucked herself up so badly and so quickly that people leapt on her and sorted her out before she got proper hooked.
But it is prevalent to the point of accepted. Hence the blase attitude in the video.
