When I lay out my clothes to see if the shirt goes with the jeans I realise just how tall I am.
I'm off to a party, you're not invited.
Am I the only person who checks in here on the weekends?
No, I'm here Sul... as Primus once said, "Weekends don't mean much when you're unemployed.. except you get to hang out with your friends who have jobs..." It's sort of the other way round on iamcal. How tall are you Sul?
Oh and did the shirt go with the jeans?
I thought you were a shortarse Sul
Who am I thinking of then?
Ronnie Corbett or someone I expect.

Due to my enormous wit and playful nature I am often confused with the lesser half (third?) of the two Ronnies but I actually measure in at 6'2". I’m aware, now, that my first post made me sound like I was some sort of giant, in fact, so tall as to intimidate the Doc into a coherent post. But I’m just 6'2" with a tiny waistline, the envy of all the girls.
The shirt went with the jeans, thanks for your concern. If I was aware people were checking in, and if cal brought back the polls, I would have posted the candidates on here for you.
So I was the
only person to do karaoke last night. Not sure if that’s good or bad (well it was definitely bad, I can’t sing for shit). And I’m not sure if I made the speech I was joking I would do, just ranting on about how brilliant I am just after the birthday girl thanked everyone. The fact that noone else would sing leads me to believe that maybe they weren’t the crowd for that. But I do remember laughing with a lung full of helium which always means it was a good night. So it was a good night from me…
…whoops, you forget so quickly don’t you?

I cooked my first poached egg today. And second and third. The first one the yolk broke. The second one I managed to cook the white and the yolk entirely separately, a feat I'm rather proud of. The third one came out ok, sort of, but still crap, I did not enjoy eating it.

I hate it when the yolks break! :(
i poach eggs via the nifty but very inefficient technique of swirling the water and cracking the egg into the middle of the vortex.
but after much experience thereof, am very much of the opinion i'd be better off getting one of those egg-poaching trays my parents had

i poach eggs, by cracking them into a bowl, then tipping them into the water.

I poach eggs by distracting the chickens by waving in their faces when they are about to sit down and then nicking them with the other hand before they realise.

Poaching is, as you will know, illegal in the UK, and you should therefore cease and desist immediately.
I usually log in at some stage over the week-end, but Mrs. WH and I have been away in a swanky hotel for a couple of days, thus explaining my absence.
I believe i'm the shortarse.
But hey, I make up for it in other areas.
You can poach an egg by washing all the spermicidal lubricant out and putting it in and tying up the end.
