Why not english kissing, are we so crap (im not) that we have to call it a frenchy?

have you ever kissed a french man?

God invented kissing...

Bwahahahahaha!

The French are supposed to be the epitome of romance, so a really passionate kiss gets named after them.

Hang on a minute ... what do the French call French Kissing?

And why did Gen De Gaulle have Greek letters around his hat?
Posted by ellipse, around 16th October 2005:

so apart from me, has anyone enjoyed the delights of comparing kissing styles of different nationalities?

It's because the French are better at it (;
Posted by Sul_DUPE1, around 16th October 2005:

It's because it was invented by Barry French. An all English cockmaster.
Posted by WarHead, around 16th October 2005:

I take it, then, that no one but me knows why Gen De Gaulle had Greek letters around his hat.
Posted by syl_DUPE1, around 16th October 2005:

Why?
Posted by WarHead, around 16th October 2005:

Because he'd have looked stupid with French letters around his hat.

Well, interestingly enough, according to my "Dictionary of Obscenity, Taboo and Euphemism", J. McDonald, Sphere (1988),

"it has long been costomary for nations to blame each other for the introduction of secually transmitted diseases. For example, the Germans called VD the Spanish scabies, the Spanish know it as the French disease, and the French named it the Neapolitan or Italian malady.

Our sexual xenophobia is, if anything, slightly less severe than that of the French. French kissing for example is relatively mild, even when applied to oral sex. A French print is an erotic picture, and French lessons generally involve sexual activities of various times. To the French, however, homosexuality and sometimes flagellation is le vice anglais (the English vice), and to menstruate is to avoir les anglaises (to have the Englishes)."

So there you go. Oral sex. Traditionally (according to the same dictonary) performed upon a lady. How it got its milder interpretation is another kettle of fish, I guess.

le vice anglais
I have never heard that phrase before.

"So Dave, did you get some last night?"
"Nah, Tracy's got the Englishes aint she."
"Bummer"
"Nah, she dont like it"

Reasons for *bumping* this thread.

1. Sul's incredible joke.

2. Can we have Site Statistics again? They were cool.

And a [Ban] button, please.

Even if we let Brock have control of it, it'd be worth it to see the back of Merve.
Posted by ellipse, around May 2006:

yeah let's make power go to brock's head
Posted by syl_DUPE1, around May 2006:

Brockles, I will vote for you getting the banning button as long as you give me IMMUNITY. ;)
Posted by WarHead, around May 2006:

Just don't make him angry. You won't like it when he's angry.

But bearing in mind that just waking up in the morning makes him angry, we could all be banned before tea time.

You never know with Brockles, eh? He's gotten a bit grumpier of late. I remember him being one of the nicest blokes on this site. Of course, it could be me that's become more annoying. :(
Posted by WarHead, around May 2006:

I don't remember that.

Evah.

"I remember him being one of the nicest blokes on this site."

What? I don't think so. Not by a long chalk. I suspect your memories are utterly corrupt. Try reinstalling them.

Mathos, as much as I would like to oblige, the dirtiest picture I have of me is when I spent 2 weeks roughing it in Mozambique and didn't bath the whole time.
