Ahh, reminds me of my delightfully fascist idea of a tiered computer user licence, like a driving test but in parts. You have to prove your worth to free up the policy on your PC in steps.

But then if they had that I'd lose the odd 20 quid I get from cleaning my aunt's boyfriend's PC of all the skatware (All the shit you get from porn sites).
ahhhhh... as the authority for access moves off particular hardware into a location/machine-agnostic identity/authorisation, yeah, i reckon we're going to see more and more tiered access authorities. eg: "do not let me have unfettered access to more than 10% of my bank account if i log in from china"
ok, that is completely separate from what i thought this thread would be -- ie a laugh at an idea to stop newbies cluttering oldies' fora

"hi, you thought this would be about 5 mins. well, after a while, you'll find you fool your brain into thinking it WAS just 5mins, as you straighten stiffly up from the desk to discover the world is dark, the house is quiet, and the relationship is damaged.
PCs. they're like Special K, only addictive."

How does one know if one has SpyWare on one's computer?

get yourself spybot and adaware
they are both free, and you should run them once a week

What ellipse said. And the reason you should run them
both is that neither seems to pick up
all the spyware on yer PC.
