I don't understand this smoking ban.
There are plenty of no smoking places to go out in London, so if I don't want to smell of smoke, that is where I go.
Stinking buses (bus's? buss?) make the air bad when they go past, can we ban them too please?
In France they made a law so bars and restaurants had to have no smoking areas and that was working well, but now, like here, they want to ban it outright.
Damned government people. They will ban loud music next.

Annoying, yes, but wont affect me too much. I only really drink in dive bars so unless packets of pork scratchings and pickled eggs come under the "serve food" category I think the affect on my smoking will be minimal.

i don't think people should smoke ban. ban causes epiglottis of the spleen and encroachment of the lambditic vacuoles. that can't be good.

ban ban, i say.

a smoking ban is a wonderful thing.
it's rather fun to watch the smokers sit in the outside area of a bar or resturant just so they can smake.

And I think it's rather wonderful to blow smoke in non-smokers faces. I guess we're both sadistic bitches.

i believe a lot of these laws have been implemented in australia to ensure the health of the staff at these places - ie now they aren't passive smoking 8 hours/day.

I was happy with the smoking ban in South Africa; because of that I gave up smoking nearly five years ago. I couldn't be bothered with the stress of having to find a place to smoke.
