Makes watching films hellish, doesn't it?

after my Serenity review, i had a number of emails along the lines of "have seen it twice. WHAT suicide scene????"

if you have the chance, i thoroughly recommend you see the Firefly series (eg DVD) first.

the movies stands by itself.
but series-then-movie will leave you wrungout/blownaway.

as per mate of mine who followed this advice:
Now, you might be asking yourself. Just what is going through this man's mind. And I aint blamin you fer askin. But this here's a conundrum.
On the one had, you've gone and done good by me and mine - bringin me Firefly an all, but then what you give with one hand, you take away three fold with the other. Here I find myself, havin seen all of Firefly and now Serenity, with nothing but a gapin hole where my heart used to be.

And this brings a man to wonderin.

arr
sorry bout that

Yep,
A flash of glory. Does this feeling pass? Can you actually go on and appreciate other fare? I've had this feeling after a particular intense and intelligent book, but never after a TV series.

I wonder if they have TV in a mental asylum. I keep wanting to just go and watch another episode. You know, there was just SO much more to be developed.

arrrg, grr., or is it the other way around?

Perhaps similar to the feelings I have about the mini series "Shooting the Past" and the book "Behind the Scenes at the Museum", both of which left me emotionally wrecked and incredibly evangelic.
