Has anyone got the UK version?
Mine is scratched beyond repair, and I'd love a copy =]

Anyone?
Anyone?
Posted by Sul_DUPE1, around 22nd November 2005:

Nope. Got a couple of US versions, though.
Posted by Grim..., around 22nd November 2005:

You can still buy them.
I've been in contact with Jellyvision and they don't sell the UK versions any more =[

Yes I have the UK version.

I promised a copy to Cal more than a year ago but it never happened.

I'll hunt around and if I find it I might send it to both you and Mr Cal for Christmas.
Posted by Sul_DUPE1, around 22nd November 2005:

Ahhh. I'm convinced, it is Vic and his wrong thread posting ways.
Posted by Alfie_DUPE1, around 22nd November 2005:

Also another good reason for sending me that blank CD-R that you mentioned a few weeks ago. ;)
Posted by Victor Menendezz, around 22nd November 2005:

Bah. Time to totally change time.
Posted by beargod_DUPE1, around 22nd November 2005:

Grim... I know someone who at least used to have it, Chay, whether he still does I do not know
Posted by Alfie_DUPE1, around 22nd November 2005:

I'll get Alfie to ask him.
Posted by beargod_DUPE1, around 22nd November 2005:

god damn I need to catch up only beed years since I was really last on here
Posted by Grim..., 23rd November 2005:

I'll get Alfie to ask him.
Gahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Perfect.
Where's that Star in a Car?
Posted by Grim..., 23rd November 2005:

So if I send you a CD-R with SAE, you'll send YDKJ back?
Consider that a deal. What's your address?
Posted by Alfie_DUPE1, 23rd November 2005:

Grim... I'm kidding. I'm sure I've got a blank CD around here somewhere. Give me your address and I'll send a copy to you :)

Same goes for Mr Cal

Lets see if I can manage it this time.

Finding the damned disk will be task number one.
Posted by Alfie_DUPE1, 23rd November 2005:

ok grim, take it down.
Posted by Alfie_DUPE1, 23rd November 2005:

I've been though every CD I own.

They were all thrown in a cupboard. (mostly without cases)

YDKJ was the VERY last disk in that cupboard. Spooky.

Note to self: Invest in CD cases. (This disk is scratched worse than the one cal sent me through the post with no case)
Posted by Alfie_DUPE1, 23rd November 2005:

Thanks guys. I'm now addicted to You Don't Know Jack again. Especially the adverts at the end. (The disk plays fine BTW)

I'm off to go get a delicious bucket of Jerky the Turkey's Breaded Turkey Wattles.

I ran it at 1am last night and I got told that I should "go to bed and stop playing games in the small hours of the morning"

I think there are ones for Elvis's birthday and various famous days.

"On a gibberish question type in "fuck you". Different things will happen depending on the version of YDKJ that you are playing. Do this three times and the program will shut down because you are a true vulgarian."

I had also forgotten that it's Paul Kaye as the voice of Jack Cake.
Posted by Grim..., around 24th November 2005:

Is he related to Peter Kaye?

And 'Sue' is played by Mel of Mel and Sue fame (or perhaps it's 'Mel' played by Sue).

Neither of them were/are cute. Or funny. Light Lunch was a pile of foetid dingos' ordure.

At least Brock fancies Lisa Rogers.

You obviously have lower standards than I.

Then again, there's no accounting for taste, so whatever spins your turbine, I spose.
