I saw this movie the other day, so I'm adding my recommendation to Cal's.. It's very very very funny, even if you haven't read the books.. if you have read them, you'll notice some subtle jokes stuck in there for you, if not, those will probably slide by. I took my boyfriend to see it, and although I thought he might hate it, he found it funny and enjoyable too.. And I have to add, Colin Firth is damn sexy in this movie.. all uptight and corseted, makes you want to steal all his inhibitions.. phwoar..
