some idiot kiwi got arrested in the usa recently for taking photographs of trains. first thing the amtrack police asked him ' are you a terrorist?'

His "you're clearly blogging your terrorist intentions" attitude was shitty but wasn't the author living in the country illegally?

He sounds a tad bitter he got caught out in such a bizarre way.

I have no sympathy for this moron.

To quote Phil Collins "It's no fun being an illegal alien..."

Wasn't that Sting?
Posted by Sul_DUPE1, 30th November 2005:

Nope, you're both wrong. T'was Jean Charles de Menezes.

So Phil Collins sung it, then.

Not necessarily, but in this case, yes.

actually, if you're ANY sort of alien, you're better off sticking to the high-volume routes -- their guards a/ know what they're doing b/ are not looking for ways to be heroes

eg, aussies are MUCH safer coming in thru heathrow than waterloo. i nearly got deported once because some wally decided not to recognise my right to entry. and once deported, you lose your right to entry indefinitely.
